Enjoy this spacious and serene space with views of Nyambene Hills and Mt. Kenya Forest. We are located on the edge of the forest and you may see birds, elephants and harmless lizards in our vicinity. An electric fence erected by Kenya Wildlife Service keeps elephants inside the forest. Guests are advised to book adequate days and time to cover their required stay as we are not able to accommodate earlier check-in and late checkout; other than the indicated times. Faraja House is located in Kithoka, Meru and near Thiiri Centre and Ruiri town. It is spacious, serene and comfortable. King and Queen plush beds and hot showers await you in spacious master ensuite bedrooms. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need. Faraja House offers great views and ambience. Don't be surprised to see elephants on the way here as we are located in the vicinity of their natural habitat. Birds sing and chirp all day and the Nyambene Hills beckon with their beautiful views from the back of the house. We are 20 minutes drive from Meru Town, 25 kms from Isiolo, one hour drive to Nanyuki and 2 hours to Meru National Park. We are in the vicinity of Ripples International Campus. Guests have access to the entire house. Single guests will have access to one bedroom; double guests can access two bedrooms. More than 2 guests can access all the bedrooms. I don't live nearby but guests can access me by phone. A caretaker lives on the compound and is available 24/7. The neighbourhood is quiet and very safe. Please maintan the integrity of the neighbourhood by maintaining peace and avoid loud noise. There is public transport from the road (7 minutes walk). Boda bodas and taxis can pick you up from the house. Strictly no smoking in the house or patio. Breaking of this rule will lead to a report being made to Airbnb to request compensation to remove all traces of tobacco odours. Strictly no parties. For technical reasons we strictly do not allow early check-in and late check-out. Especially note our checkout time is STRICTLY 10 am. Therefore do book the adequate number of days you require to stay.
