The bathtub is installed outside to enjoy the Doi Luang view, facing to Doi Luang mountain. ☑ This dome is located in a family resort project with other cabins nearby within a few minutes walking distance. ☑ For our guest convenience, there is an onsite restaurant near the dome. ☑ Our location is remote. But there is a restaurant on-site with a range of food and drink options available for guests to enjoy in relaxed, resort family-friendly surroundings. ☑ Our entrance project is located right on the main street, but the dome itself is far enough from the street. You can sit on your front porch, observe the mountains scenery and experience the little nature touch unfold before your eyes. ☑ The property comes with *FREE BREAKFAST*, daily cleaning, a free car park, and a designated smoking area. The property is located outside Chiang Dao City on highway 107, which is 1.30 hours away from downtown Chiang Mai. The cheapest way to get to our Airbnb from Chiang Mai is by public bus. Every hour (from 5.30 to 17.30) a bus departs from Chiang Mai Bus Terminal 1 (Chang Phueak Bus Terminal) to Chiang Dao bus station (direction to Fang). A ticket costs 44 THB and can be purchased on the bus. Keep in mind that a bus can arrive full and that you either have to stand on the bus or have to wait for another hour. The bus ride will take around 1.5-2 hours. OR You can also travel by a VIP bus (minivan). Our driver will pick you up from Chiang Dao bus station for 50 THB per person. We give our guest space but our staffs on site are available when needed. And our guests can contact us 24/7 via Airbnb. Wat Tham Chiang Dao is 2.1 miles from the venue. Wat Tham Pha Plong can be reached in a 10-minute drive. Situated in a mountain, the property is close to Arunothai Village. The property is located near Chiang Dao Cave. The nearest airport is Pai, 38 miles from the property. ************************************************************************************ @What To Do In Chiang Dao, Chiang Mai @ There’s so much to do in Chiang Dao, plus, it’s also a great spot to just chill and soak in the mountain-nature vibes. Chiang Dao Cave - is the most famous attraction in the region and the only place that might be busy. There are stalagmites and stalactites, along with hundreds of Buddha statues and other votive items placed there by devout Buddhists. You can see this portion in 15 – 30 minutes. Chiang Dao Hot Springs - The springs are pretty popular with locals and can get quite busy, so if it’s peace and solitude you’re after, go early in the morning. Wat Tham Pha Plong Chiang Dao - From the parking lot, you walk 500 steps up to a golden pagoda. The walk takes you along the edge of the jungle, with introspective and spiritual quotes posted along the way. Climb Doi Luang Chiang Dao - We suggest contacting Chiang Dao Koko Home well in advance or getting a Thai Speaker to contact the Wildlife Sanctuary on your behalf. If you do get the chance to climb the mountain, most people tackle the mountain as an overnight hike, staying at the summit for sunset and sunrise. Tuesday Morning Market - Members from various communities come down from the mountains to do their weekly shopping, providing you with the opportunity to engage with them in a real-life setting, rather than in a zoo-like tour common throughout Thailand. Explore On A Scooter - Our recommendation is to simply head for the hills and explore the beautiful mountain area. You’re guaranteed excellent views and there are numerous spots to take in the views and enjoy the scenery. Traveling by car, you can travel by all types of cars, 1200cc sedans or motorcycles can also come. Travel time from the city and the airport is 1 hour 30 minutes (70 km). The property is on the main road along the paved road. Due to how spread out everything is, to fully enjoy the area, you really need your own wheels to get around. Renting a scooter from down town of Chiang Mai is the best option. This will allow you the freedom to go where you want to go and explore the entire area. !!! CHANGE & CANCELLATION POLICIES !!! Guests pay the full price if they cancel or no-show. Guest will not be eligible for a refund. Guest may change the details of their reservation, such as the date or the name of the guest for 1 (one) time only, with a notice at least 15 days before the arrival date. Smoking is allowed only in the smoking area. - Quiet time is after 10PM. - A person who is not a guest in the reservation will not have the legal right to enter or remain in the property due to other guests’ privacy and safety. - Bathtub area is an open area, designed for stargazing and enjoying the mountain view and may not be very private. - Guests can travel to the property by car or motorcycle.
