When you stay at Big Bear Cabin, you can indulge in the peacefulness of the mountains while being centrally located where your family will be close to everything you need. The five-bedroom home includes free Wi-Fi, central heat, a washer and dryer, and multiple outdoor areas to relax and unwind while soaking up the mountain view. The Big Bear Cabin is a two story modern house that has five bedrooms. On the main level you have the kitchen that is fully equipped with whatever you may need, including a Keurig and coffee bar; you also have a living area with a stone brick fireplace. The master bedroom is located on the main level, which includes two queen beds. This bedroom share the main level bathroom, which has a shower. Located on the lower level is four bedrooms along with its own den, which includes its own couch and table, perfect for any age who want to indulge in playing board games, which are included! The lower level share a bathroom, which includes a shower and tub combination. The first bedroom on the lower level includes two twin beds. The second bedroom includes one full bed. Next, the third bedroom includes one queen bed. Lastly, the fourth bedroom down stairs is a twin trundle bed, which has one twin bed and one twin bed underneath. You won't want to spend all of your times indoors though. There are multiple outdoor areas to relax, as well as an enormous backyard, which is for sure to be a favorite gathering spot after a day of hiking, mountain biking, or horseback riding. The fragrance of the surrounding pine trees makes your outside time very enjoyable, and you might even spot some wildlife while you spend your time here. Even though you may feel secluded with your private backyard, it is actually quiet close to everything you may need. The Big Bear Cabin can be a perfect place for a family vacation or a peaceful romantic getaway. The diversity of this cabin is what makes it such a rare find! Big Bear Cabin is the best of both worlds; surrounded by nature's greatness, peaceful, and private, yet close enough to enjoy all that Ruidoso has to offer! With the cooler Ruidoso air, please note there is no central air or window units available. To solve this, we have ceiling fans, as well as portable fans. Myself or my cohost will not be there in person, but are always available by the AIRBNB app or phone. Please note: if you’re visiting in winter, a vehicle with four-wheel drive or tire chains is strongly advised. Ruidoso is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter; this can affect driving and parking conditions, regardless of the property, driveway, or roads. All bedding, linens, towels, and other basic needs like salt, pepper and oil is provided.
