Our home is a beautiful mountainside A-frame located in historic Upper Canyon. It’s secluded amongst 80-foot tall pine trees. The property is quiet, with incredible views through large 20-foot windows. There are no properties behind the home, only mountainside. You'll see deer, elk and wild turkeys. Our home is kid-friendly with many areas to explore and play. The 4th bedroom is a studio with wetbar and its own bathroom. There is no staircase door between the studio (1st floor) and main level. Please note: there is only AC in the bedroom on the 3rd level. We have contractors coming in a few weeks to install mini split heating & air conditioning units. Until then, keeping the doors open lets a great breeze throughout the house. 1st floor: is a studio space with a queen size bed, dressers, 50" smart tv, full wet bar w/wine cooler, mini-fridge, a private bathroom, and glass door to the first deck. This deck also has a movie screen and we have a projector with Roku you can set up outside to watch movies. Or bring your own gaming system and hook it up to the projector via HDMI. The bathroom has a standing shower. This floor does *not* have a door separating it from the staircase to the second level. It is open, but still very private and has its own entrance from the first deck of the home as well. 2nd floor: This is the main entrance to the house. It includes an outdoor front deck with charcoal BBQ, a full kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms, washer/dryer, and living area. “Bedroom 3”: two twin beds, closet, and sliding glass door to backyard. “Bedroom 2”: queen size bed, dresser, closet, sliding glass door to backyard. Bathroom has a tub/shower combo. Full kitchen includes dishwasher, microwave, fridge, sink, stovetop, oven, counter bar and storage. Living area includes a large futon couch (sleeps 1-2), a new 50" smart tv, coffee bar, gas fireplace, and small dining table with 4 chairs. 3rd floor: Loft area, large bedroom and bathroom. The loft area includes an electric standing desk, daybed, wicker swing and beautiful views of the outdoors. The bathroom includes a tub/shower. “Bedroom 1” is large and has a king size bed, couch, a new 65" smart tv and dresser. You’ll have access to the entire home, except for the loft linen closet, “Bedroom 1” closet and utility closet. We live down the road. You’ll be able to contact me anytime and I’ll respond ASAP. I’m happy to help with any type of town recommendations too. We love living here in Ruidoso. 3 cars are able to park at our dead-end (right in front of our house). During the winter months, we highly recommend AWD vehicles and/or chains. The gravel road to get up to the house is short, but steep. Any car will make it up the hill as long as there isn’t snow. Don’t be shy about “gunning it” up the hill. Everyone does it. :) The loft includes a daybed with incredible views. We listed it under “Bedroom 1” because there wasn’t another option. “Bedroom 1” room does get warm in the summer months and cool in the winter. We have a window AC unit in this room and a space heater for winter. Although there is a small couch in this bedroom, it’s not suitable for sleeping. If you need baby gates, you’ll find 3 of them in closet of the Queen bedroom on the main level. Please watch your toddlers carefully because we have a lot of stairs in our home…and we all know they like to sneak away quickly. Brand new water softener and water heater!
