Playa Gigante is a very small fishing village where walking through the village is simple, especially from Casa Ogo which is in the center of the village/beach. Option to rent a moto locally to explore neighboring areas, or car rental can be delivered to you at Casa Ogo. Taxis are available, as well as tours to visit other areas. Local bus departs Gigante 2 times per day into our bigger towns of Tola and Rivas (where you can change to buses with all destinations in Nicaragua and to Penas Blancas - the border to Costa Rica). Visiting San Juan del Sur, Hacienda Iguana, or other neighboring beaches can also be done via hiring a Panga boat right outside our front door.
