One out of six beautifully designed rooms in our charming Bed&Breakfast 'Dar Bul Bul'. With garden, pool and big rooftop overlooking lake Qaroun. We offer breakfast and can help you organizing any activity you are interested in (for example a trip to the nearby desert). We can also organize a private driver from Cairo for you, if you don't have your own car. Our small hotel/bed&breakfast consists of six rooms, each with private bathroom. Five of these rooms have a private balcony/terrace. The rooms in the first floor do additionally have a shared corridor that could be used as a sitting area, overlooking the fields and facing the sunrise. There is a big rooftop overlooking lake Qaroun. The rooms are facing the garden and pool. There is a parking area on the property. Room#6 is located in the first floor, has a private balcony, double bed (1,60), a beautiful dome ceiling with colorful glasses, built-in wardrobe, AC, mini fridge and a private bathroom. We designed the rooms with a lot of love, choosing natural materials such as wood and marble. Old vintage doors and old Egyptian tiles give the place a unique touch. You will find more details that make the place special. Our private house is on the same property. Apart from your private room with bathroom, you have access to the garden with pool, the rooftop and the parking area. In the garden you will find a kitchen from where we serve breakfast and drinks. Guests don't have access to the kitchen itself, but can order drinks and snacks from the counter. Our private house is on the same property as the house with the guestrooms. Most of the time we are around and available if you need anything or if you are just up for a chat. But even if we are not there ourselves, you will find our Co-worker available for you, offering breakfast and drinks and helping you out with whatever you need. The little, pittoresque village of Tunis is located in the region of Fayoum, 2 - 2 1/2 hours drive from Cairo. It is overlooking lake Qaroun in a very green region full of agriculture. The desert is just a stone throw away and can be visited. Tunis is a very peaceful, beautiful and clean village. A lot of families are working within the field of pottery and you can shop for pottery or even take pottery classes yourself. You can go horseback riding and go for walks through the village, the fields and along the lake. There are some nice restaurants in the village. Tunis village is small. You can reach everything by foot. There are also TukTuks available in the village. If you come by car, you can park inside the property. Coming to Tunis: We can organize a driver for you, if you need. There is an electricity shortage in Egypt, which leads to regular electricity cuts. During this time you will not be able to use any electrical devices (for example fans, ACs, fridges) as well as little to no water will be available as the pump is also run by electricity. These cuts can last from some minutes to some hours. As we do not have any influence on this, we do not refund any money if you experience electricity cuts while being our guest. Please stay chilled, use the pool in the summer during this time and enjoy the stars during the night without any light pollution :)
