Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Double bedroom with shared use of kitchen, dining, living area and a veranda to relax on guest rooms but only one bathroom, so you may potentially be sharing the bathroom with other guests. I'm a non smoker but you are welcome to smoke (420 friendly too) on the veranda or in the yard :-) OK, so I bought this house about 2 years ago and it's a work in progress! I live in a semirural location which comes with its own animal sound effects. Goats and pigs often pass by the fence looking for things to eat, the early morning birdsong is lovely and of course the crickets and frogs make up the evening chorus. You're very welcome to share my yard if you don't want to relax on the veranda. I have a quarter acre of land, some of which is yet to be landscaped. In the front, I have a lawned area with a picnic table and a couple of sun beds. It's kinda nice sitting there at night watching the fireflies darting in and out of the trees. The back yard is steep, rocky and bushy. If you're feeling athletic, feel free to find a quiet breezy spot to chill out. I have a laundry room in the main house and you're welcome to use the washing machine for a small donation towards the water, electricity and detergent. I'm happy to go with the flow. If you want to chat or need any advice or help I will be pleased to help you. If you want your own space I'm good with that too. I'm pretty laid back - either way is good for me. Set in a semirural location, my home is 5 mins drive (or 20 mins walk if you prefer, to the nearest town which is Duncans. Beautiful Duncans Bay beach is a short taxi drive from Duncans, as is historical Falmouth with its weekly markets and large supermarket. My home is located in a safe community where the local people always have a smile for you and time for a quick chat. There are two small shops nearby which are run by local people from their front yards. Very convenient if you need basic provisions and it puts a few dollars in someones hand. The nearest bar is about 5 minutes walk and is located on the main road next to the barber shop. Route taxi is the cheapest way to get from A To B or you can charter a taxi to take you door to door. I can also arrange for you to rent a car if you prefer. Parking on the drive is first come first served but there is parking outside in the lane too. After you have booked, I'm happy to share the location via G maps. A little heads up though... a few mins before you 'reach your destination', it will try to direct you up a steep dirt track (shortest route but not the quickest or easiest). Avoid if you can, and continue driving until G maps redirects you to the better route. The bathroom may be shared with other guests if the second room is booked.
