We invite families and friends to create lifelong memories in this spacious, 3 level home on a private acreage. We can't wait to make your stay magical! Although we have neighbors, you will feel as if you are secluded in the woods without being far from everything you need. This home is < 5 minutes from great restaurants, public boat launch, shopping, public beach, and entertainment. Grab our SUPs for an epic day out on the water or spend your day relaxing on the sandy beach just a short stroll away. The heated, in-ground pool is open from mid-May through mid-September (weather permitting). We have the pool maintained with cleaning and chemical management once per week. We may need to instruct you to add some simple chemicals during your stay depending on your usage and weather, to keep the pool in optimal condition for your enjoyment. Bedroom 1 (upstairs) King bed, loveseat, fireplace, TV and adjacent full bathroom. Bedroom 2 (upstairs) Queen bed, two twin beds and ensuite bathroom with 48" shower. Bedroom 3 (main floor) Queen bed and TV. Bedroom 4 (downstairs) Queen bed. There is a full bathroom with shower and bathtub down the hall. There are three separate group gathering areas and cozy quiet spots throughout the home. There is a private office/workout room in the lower level where you can get some work done or stream your favorite yoga class. Guests have access to the whole house, except a few locked storage closets. Guests do not have access to the garage. We are readily available via Airbnb messaging, texts/calls and e-mail. Tonka Bay is a charming lake community situated between the upper and lower lakes of Lake Minnetonka. This idyllic lakefront community is also close to many great shops and restaurants in Excelsior, MN. There is video surveillance outside the house. If you or anyone else in your group is uncomfortable with exterior video surveillance, we kindly ask you to book elsewhere. Inside, we monitor for noise, occupancy and smoke with non-video, non-recording equipment to protect our property and guest privacy. Children are welcome, however the home is not child-proofed. Responsible adults must actively monitor children at all times. There is parking for 4-5 cars on the parking pad in front of the house. Please do not park on the lawn, in the woods or on garden areas. Please be aware that the forest is home to many creatures great and small. Some of the tiny ones may get into the house from time to time. Though we treat the house for pests including spiders, insects and mice, and employ a spray service to control mosquitos during the summer months, this is a reality of nature. Our space may not be a fit for those who are extremely phobic of these and other wildlife. House Rules Please do: • Respect quiet hours 10:00p to 8:00a. • Park on the parking pad or up at the street. • Always use life jackets when using the SUPs. • Let us know if any damages occur during your stay. • Clean the grill after each use. • Obey all pool rules. Please do not: • Smoke anywhere on the property. • Host events, parties or gatherings. • Disturb the neighbors. • Exceed the maximum occupancy (includes all humans). • Move furniture. • Bring pets. • Use the bath towels at the pool or beach. • Use fireworks or firearms. No firearms permitted on the property. • Park on the lawn, in the woods or garden areas. Guests must obey posted pool rules at all times. Swim at your own risk. Please do not enter the fenced area around the pool and deck when the winter pool cover is in place. Owners will not be held responsible for any accidents that occur on the premises or through use of the property amenities.
