A private 1250SF terrace wraps around the condo allowing for a spectacular 270* view over the sea, the national ecological preserve and El Yunque rain forest. The secured complex offers parking, a pool, small gym and direct access to the beach. This beach can have strong currents but a calm beach with chair rental is a 5 min walk away. Stop for a piña colada on the way or a bite to eat! The property is located in Luquillo, Puerto Rico. The condo has an oversized terrace that overlooks the Northeast Ecological Corrridor, a wonderful stretch of coastline that reaches from Luquillo to Fajardo, and also offers views of the rainforest El Yunque. It was completely renovated in March 2017 and is furnished simple and modern. The northeastern exposure guarantees a nice breeze that keeps the condo cool even on the hottest days of August. Window AC units are provided for the bedrooms. The property has security cameras positioned towards the exterior doors. Guests can enjoy long walks on the deserted beach, watch the surfers at la Pared from the beach bar 'Boardriders' , rent a beach chair and umbrella from Jimmy and relax, visit the nearby rainforest or caves, go snorkeling or fishing from Fajardo, and of course visit the bioluminescent bay. We readily respond to guests via phone, texting, or e-mail. Security is available 24/7. The property is self check-in with a lock box. Luquillo is quiet beach town located 40 mins from San Juan and the airport. The condo is about 45 minutes from the San Juan Airport. We recommend renting a car from one of the agencies that have vehicles at the airport as they are located directly across from baggage claim. The property has assigned parking for 1 vehicle, but arrangements can typically be made for an additional vehicle with prior notice. The Fajardo Airport and Ferry to Vieques and Culebra are about 20 minutes away. The bioluminescent bay is 15 minutes away. El Yunque, the rainforest, is 15 minutes away. The ocean and the Northeast Ecological Corridor, a prime Leatherback Turtle nesting area, are steps away... Close to the Kioskos at Luquillo public beach. Several restaurants are within a short walking distance. There is small gym on the property, pool, parking, and direct beach access. The owners visit occasionally, but keep personal belongings stored away when not on premises. The owners do have a dog that visits, but no pets permanently live on the property. The property has security cameras that face the exterior doors. The pool has been repaired after Hurricane Maria and is now operational. The beach is incredible and just below the condo.
