Situated near the fishing village of Barra de Potosi, on a pristine 10-mile crescent beach called Playa Blanca, our home, Casa Panamar, is an ideal getaway for large families or groups. Rustic by design, the compound provides both simple beachfront living and the amenities of a 5 Star resort. Casa Panamar is comprised of two main buildings. The main house includes 5 bedrooms, two living rooms, a large dining room, kitchen, and five bathrooms with en-suite shower and or/bath. Casa Panamar also includes a home-sized beachfront Palapa. The Palapa serves as the central gathering point for guests and is comprised of a 2,000 Square foot open-air pavilion that includes ample lounge seating, hammocks, a full-size refregerator, bar, sink, and dining room, and an expansive bathroom with double indoor/outdoor shower and changing facilities. The Palapa is perched behind a cobalt-tiled, 20 meter infinity-edge pool strategically situated to provide prime views of the Pacific Ocean and sunsets. This beach estate is ideal for families seeking a more private and quiet alternative to the typical resort hotel, as well as those seeking an authentic Mexican Beachfront experience. Casa Panamar includes a friendly staff to clean. For an extra $700 pesos per day you can have kitchen service from 9am to 6pm. Typical breakfasts include large plates of fresh fruit, cereal, granola, yogurt, as well as eggs, chilaquiles, and other hearty dishes. Dinners can include grilled shrimp tacos, burgers, pasta, and a variety of other options. If you don't want to go to the supermarket or bring food, for $600 pesos you have the option of having your purchases made. You also have the option to bring your food and not have to pay that fee. Before your arrival I will send you the menus, that way you can choose and they will know what to buy. We just build a pickle ball court. You can bring your own rackets and balls or we can rent 4 rackets for $1,000 pesos for the your stay and sell you balls ($50 pesos each). Guests may choose to completely relax or to participate in a broad range of tours, activities, and day-trips. It is simple and authentic. The neighborhood association calls Playa Blanca the Last Best Beach. It is perfect for visitors with a taste for adventure and untouched natural beauty. In addition to enjoying the beach, pool, and on-premise amenities, some highly recommended excursions may include: • Kayaking through the mangroves at the Laguna de Potosi (A 15 minute walk from Casa Panamar) • Snorkeling and swimming at the Moros de Potosi, or at Playa Manzanillo • Day-trips to Zihuantanejo (30 minute drive) or Ixtapa (40 minute drive) • Near shore and deep water fishing • Scuba diving Early check-in you can arrive from 10am with an extra cost of $1,000 pesos. Subject to availability. Late check-out you could leave until 6pm with an extra cost of $1,500 pesos. Subject to availability. You will have access to the entire home including the pool and palapa. Feel free to use our kayaks, although they are not on great condition. Beach towels are provided. Although we are not available onsite, we can be reached easily by e-mail and phone. Also, there is very friendly staff onsite that will clean the home and make the beds every morning. We are sure you will fall in love with Playa Blanca as we have.
