5 -10 minute drive to 7 Mile beach the apartment is nestled in the heart of West Bay in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood with a fenced in yard. Guests have exclusive use of the apartment with a private entry to a spacious living area, a fully equipped kitchen & 2 bedrooms (1 with the ensuite bathroom). 7 Mile Beach & Barkers Marine park are only 5 mins away. Barkers Marine Park has awesome kiteboarding & horseback tours. Scuba diving, snorkeling, restaurants, grocery stores are close by! The apartment is adjacent to our home. It has its own entrance on our family home separate from the main house entrance. It has 2 bedrooms and the en-suite bathroom, a living and dining area. There is a pillowtop queen size bed in the master bedroom with a large closet. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and the living area has a large and comfy sectional sofa. The fully equipped kitchen has a 4 burner electric stove top with oven, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, electric kettle, blender, pots, pans, dishes and cutlery. With a spacious en-suite bathroom there is a shower and bathtub combo. It is supplied with towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap and a hair dryer. Free Wifi is included and you can enjoy Netflix and Youtube on the smart TV for days or nights in. Books, maps and other information about the Cayman Islands is available for guests to read. I am a local who is from West Bay, so I can give guests tips and suggestions about Cayman. For outings to the beach, guests will find; beach towels, beach bags, a beach mat, a beach umbrella, cooler bags, and beach chairs. The space is perfect for singles, couples, a family or group of 4. This is a perfect space for persons who are on island temporarily for work purposes or who are just moving to the island and need a place to stay while they are preparing a permanent home. The apartment has a large desk, office chair, pens, and stationary. For families with kids, there are board games, toys, puzzles, kid size dishes and cutlery, kids table and chairs available. For babies & toddlers; a pack & play and high chair are available upon request. Guests can come and go as they please with a private keyed doorknob and bolt entrance separate from our main house and a separate area to park. You have exclusive use of the entire apartment. We have a huge yard with a wall and gates for privacy. The outdoor common area has chairs and tables shaded by Coconut trees and a big Almond tree; a great place to have breakfast, to sunbath or to sit for a quiet evening in. The clothesline is perfect for hanging swimwear and beach towels after a day at the beach. The washer and dryer are located in an adjacent separate laundry room accessed from an outside door which is available to guests. We live on the property and am readily available for any suggestions or questions during your stay! ~Conch Point beach access on Conch Point Rd (north coast of West Bay) is only a 10 minute walk & 3 minute drive from my place to a white sand beach and choppy surf. Great for snorkeling & sunbathing. ~Cemetary Beach (a part of 7 mile) is perfect for snorkeling and swimming. It is only a 6 minute drive from my place. ~West Bay beach (public beach, 7 mile) is only a 5 minute drive. ~Public Beach (7 mile) on West Bay road is only an 8 minute drive. Public mini-buses cross the property on a daily basis, however, I would recommend renting a car during your stay if you would like to fully explore the island. Guests are recommended to rent a car to explore the island fully but there is a bus route directly in front of the property. The buses cross in 15-20 minute intervals. Our place is in a quiet residential area of West Bay and near the Esterly Tibbetts highway. Guests are minutes away from the best beaches, restaurants, beach & water sport activities on the island which are found in West Bay and along West Bay road/ 7 mile beach. Unlike other parts of the island which can have heavy rush hour traffic at different times of the day, there is very little traffic congestion coming in and out of West Bay throughout the day because of the multiple roads. This makes our place a great home base to be at, saving on travel time where you can explore the rest of the island with a rental car at your own leisure. 13% government tourism tax is already included in the rate
