Carefully restored to its 1927 original standards it will take you back in time for almost a century. Centro Habana is one of those parts of the city that still retain its grit, its culture and its people. The apartment is located on the third floor of a 1927 Neo-Classical building (hence the name) which has retained most of its glamor. If you are a lover of Historic Preservation and design this is the perfect place. It boasts generous interior spaces, all of which have been restored to its original splendor and personality with fastidious attention to detail. Most of the furniture and fixtures are dated to the period. The apartment has unusually high ceilings, large doors/windows that afford much natural light and all its architectural details. The main balcony faces San Martin street, a secondary street where you can share the city life with its inhabitants. The flat comprises a large living / dining room space with balcony, a study, kitchen-dinning, the original bathroom and two bedrooms. An additional bathroom has been added for comfort and privacy. The flat has a maximum capacity of four guests. It is perfect for couples traveling together, business travelers and families with young children. Nuestro apartamento esta ubicado en el tercer piso de un edifcio Neo-Clásico lleno de glamor construido en 1927, y de ahi el nombre. Si es un amante de la arquitectura y la preservación este lugar es ideal. Los espacios interiores son muy generosos y han sido restaurados meticulosamente a su esplendor original. Muchos de los muebles, herrajes y lamparas son de la época. Los techos son muy deocrados y de casi cinco metros, mas altos que lo común; las ventanerías son grandes y dejan entrar mucha luz natural. El balcón principal da a la calle de San Martín. Es una calle secundaria pero llena de la vida típica de esta parte de la ciudad. La distribución tiene una sala y comedor espaciosos, una cocina-comedor, el baño original y dos habitaciones. Se le ha adicionado un baño al apartamento para mayor comodidad y privacidad. La capacidad máxima del apartamento es cuatro personas. Es perfecto para parejas que viajan juntas, viajeros de negocios y familias con hijos. Como muchos edificios de la época no tiene elevador. Centro Habana is a traditional and buzzing neighborhood perfectly located to explore the city. There are a lots of retail and food offerings with some of the most celebrated Paladars (private restaurants) in Cuba. Centro Habana es un barrio tradicional perfectamente ubicado para explorer la ciudad. En el mismo hay mucha oferta comercial y gastronómica incluyendo algunos de los Paladares mas famosos de la isla. Walking is the best way of getting around. From Havana 1927 you will be no more than 20 minutes away from the Malecon, Habana Vieja and Vedado. Zanja street is a block away, Neptuno street is 5 minutes and the Malecon less than 10 minutes walk. All are important arteries of Havana and getting a bus or taxi is relatively easy. It is not perfect in any sense other than the romantic notion of its reality. The Cuban people are lively, friendly and loving. Staying with us will bring you closer to the heart of Cuba. As with most of Cuban households we don't have internet available, however there are many public spots nearby where you can find this service. True to 1927, there is no television in the house. This technology was being developed during this era and was not commercially available. We recommend to bring your favorite board games and books for some good old fashioned family time. Centro Habana es una parte viva de la ciudad. No es perfecta en ningun sentido mas alla de su realidad romantica. El Cubano es una persona sociable, llena de vida y amor por la vida. Quedarse con nosotros los llevará muy cerca al corazón de Cuba. Como en la mayoría de las casas en Cuba el acceso a internet no es posible por el momento. Afortunadamente hay varios espacios públicos en la cercanía que brindan ese servicio. Tal como en 1927 tampoco tenemos televisión en la casa. Esta tecnología estaba en sus fases iniciales y no existía comercialmente. Les recomendamos que traigan sus juegos de mesa y libros favoritos. Es la mejor forma de entretener a la familia.
