A few days before your scheduled check-in, please reach out to us in order to arrange transportation if needed, to confirm your check-in time if it is known, and to ensure you will find our location easily - as we are off the beaten path. During your stay, we are available at a moment's notice. Reception is available on-site 08:00 - 21:00 (8 AM - 9 PM) and for every check-in and check-out. Outside of these hours, we are reachable by mobile + Whats.App + e.mail. Amina will be your point of contact; her contact details will be made available to you at check-in. You will be greeted and joined by our staff member both when arriving and when departing. Once you have settled in, feel free to reach out to our staff for information on the activities on offer, the surroundings, any special needs or requests. During your stay, the amount of contact between you(r group) and our staff is entirely at your discretion. Our camp lies inside Dolly, a large estate located near the foot of Tanzania's second highest mountain, Meru. This old giant's lush, green slopes will beckon to you on the way to our corner of paradise. Dolly is populated with expats' homes, schools, a golf course, a polo field, lodges and orchards, all scattered among copious amounts of 'bush' (short forests) - home to myriad species of wildlife; most of them can be found during a walk around. The peaceful energy of these surroundings are guaranteed to soothe body and mind. Welcome to your African home. By car, we are located 45 minutes from Kilimanjaro Airport, 1 hour from Arusha Airport and 10 minutes from the Kili golf course. The bustling safari hub of Arusha - with its colonial buildings, Maasai Center, local art/history museums, snake & crocodile park and nightlife - can be reached in 40 minutes. The Arusha National Park and Mount Meru are less than 1 hour away. Although there's no shortage of beauty to be enjoyed on foot, a car is recommended for moving around, as the estate is vast and the nearest village lies 5 kilometers away. We can provide you with transport both for your inbound trip as for the outbound. The fee covers the costs of gas and of the driver service.
