Casa Tres Amigos' is located on a lovely, quiet, walkable street in the vibrant neighborhood of San Antonio Norte. It’s close proximity to the Art Instituto, Centro, the Mercado, yoga studios and gyms, as well as wonderful restaurants and various entertainment venues such as Bellas Artes, and Teatro Angela Peralto, allows for the flexibility to come and go throughout the day. Approaching Casa Tres Amigos from the street, you will open the wooden doors and enter a lovely courtyard with a colorful breakfast table, ideal for planning your day’s agenda over a cup of coffee or a pot of tea. The kitchen, adjacent to the courtyard, if fully equipped with a stainless steel refrigerator, gas stove, micro-wave, and a dishwasher. Additional amenities including ample cookware and beautiful cutlery and tableware. At the center of the first floor is the spacious living room that opens onto a comfortable and charmingly furnished courtyard that is brightened by natural light. A half-bath is located between the kitchen and living room. Tucked in the back of the property, and separated from the main house by the courtyard, is a lovely bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The first-floor space creates an environment which is truly indoor/outdoor living at its best. Continue to the second level where you will find two colorful, attractively decorated bedrooms that feature floor to ceiling windows with views of the courtyards below. Both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and abundant drawer and closet space. While you will love the interior spaces of Casa Tres Amigo, you will be impressed by the rooftop terrace, a fabulous outside space with unobstructed views of historic San Miguel and the mountains beyond. Separated into two distinct areas, one end is covered and features a lovely dining and food preparation area with a small refrigerator and a grill. The other beautifully appointed area includes comfortably cushioned furniture with a large moveable umbrella. It is perfect as an ideal private space to read, relax, catch an afternoon siesta, or to enjoy sundowners with family and friends. You just may find that you will spend considerable time up here. We would also like to note that we recently (August 2020) re-listed our home on Airbnb. This was necessary due to a change in the hosting designation. As a result, we were unfortunately unable to retain our reviews. However, between December of 2019, when we purchased and listed our property, and March of 2020 we had a 5 star rating based on 18 reviews. Nicolas, our property manager, is available should you need assistance during your stay. What makes our neighborhood special? For us, it is the location. Everything is accessible and very convenient. There are so many restaurants to choose from-Thai, Italian, Japanese, Middle Eastern, and of course many Mexican restaurants. For those of you who like to cook innumerable local tiendas, large covered markets, and many shops selling organic fresh produce, meats, and seafood are easily within walking distance. And, our neighborhood provides a lovely, quiete respite from the hustle and bustle of your day's adventures. Taxis are readily available and city bus stops are very close. COVID-19 CLEANING PROTOCOL I follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance.
