Welcome to the heart of Downtown Stroudsburg! We are less than one block from Courthouse Square, Main Street and all the bars, restaurants and shops! ABOUT THE COTTAGE ---------------------------- The cottage is a freshly renovated and sparkly clean two bedroom one bathroom accommodation. The living room has a striking wall of vintage photos and frames of members of the owners family, some from over 100 years ago! A nail head sofa and loveseat are perfect for lounging after a long day exploring the town! The home has WiFi but no cable, internet TV will be available for those with accounts. The kitchen is a grey and white scale that lets every ounce of light in. Cape Cod-style decor adds to the ' Garden Cottage' feel of the home. Looking out the kitchen window you have a beautiful view of the SSG garden, complete with a vine of hops front and center! The back door off the kitchen leads you to a small, shaded back sitting area. Small enough to feel cozy and snuggly. The bathroom has a double stall shower that is sparkly clean and new! Soap, Shampoo/ Conditioner and a hairdryer is provided in addition to towels and washcloths. The master bedroom boasts a queen size memory foam mattress and is spacious and filled with light colored furniture. A walk in closet has enough room to hang all the clothes you don't want to store in the dresser. The second bedroom has a full sized memory foam mattress with a twin bunk above and has a large walk in closet with rod for hanging clothes, tall dresser, cedar chest and mirror. The side yard area is currently functioning with a few chairs and lighting. We do have an area on our back deck with a couch and small table that is perfect for coffee in the morning or drinks at night! We provide linens and blankets for the beds, Towels and washcloths for the bathroom, all cups, plates, pots and pans and utensils needed to cook a meals at the cottage. The pantry has many spices and oils for cooking. The refrigerator usually has condiments and butter in it, feel free to take stock of what is there already before you go grocery shopping! We also offer a ‘starter pack’ with one roll of paper towels waiting for you in the kitchen and one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom as well as dish and hand washing soaps. If your guest count is more than two or if you are staying longer than the weekend we can leave more TP but we kindly ask that the guests be conservative with the bathroom tissue use as we do not have a city sewer line.
