Conveniently located 7 minutes from downtown Hilo, 5 minutes from Honoli’i black sand surf beach, less than 20 minutes from epic water falls and snorkeling spots, and an hour or less from Volcano National Park, Pahoa village, Waipio Valley Look out and much more. Our home is clean, comfortable and filled with original art work and delight. Upstairs is a large open concept including a full sized kitchen, dining room, a shared bathroom and a casual seating area by a few big windows. Downstairs has a small kitchenette, a shared bathroom, and a large lanai with lots of seating and big TV to watch a movie on a rainy day. Our yard is a lush garden filled with various fruit trees, palms, ferns and flowers, and leads down to the Kapue stream where you can enjoy your morning coffee (don't forget the bug spray) or take a dip in the water when the conditions are safe. We also have a flock of chickens that provide fresh organic eggs daily for you to enjoy. We believe that creating connections is one of the best parts about traveling, which is why we welcome you to enjoy all common/shared areas of the house where you can meet other guests. Please do not enter any other guest room that has a number on the door Paola is reachable via airbnb messenger or by phone call. She's down to hang out when she's free and is always happy to help guests come up with ideas for their daily adventures when needed. We live in a rainforest. It can be humid. There can be bugs. We offer one parking spot per room. Our paved driveway is quite steep, so it is best to back in to make getting out easy. We are happy to park your car for you if you prefer.
