My family stayed in this amazing, spectacular home in San Miguel. We were so impressed with the beauty of the home and how comfortable we were during our stay. The views were amazing. Just a 10 minute walk into the Centro yet quiet and peaceful retreat away from the busy town center. The home is filled with art and local treasures and from travels around the world. The pool and garden are tranquil and restful. Neil provided great information about the house and was available when needed for any question we had. The house has everything you need!!! Housekeeper came each day and is available to assist with cooking or laundry. We couldn't have imagined a better retreat from our hectic lives and truly a respite we needed. We will be back. We didn't want to leave! Wendy, June 2016 Best rental eve(URL HIDDEN)I'm not even sure where to begin. First, booking and getting this set up was very easy and flexible. Not only was this easy but I was also referred to a driver service from Mexico City to San Miguel de Allende that turned out to be perfect. The house. Lets just say the photos under-represent the quality and setting of this home. Beyond being spotless, the attention to detail in both craftsmanship and decor was amazing. You have no idea of the proportions till you walk in and realize the ceilings are about 18' tall which gives the whole house and amazing grandness. The full windows facing the reservoir and canyon created spectacular views. The house is designed with a Case Study House atheistic that beings indoor/outdoor living together. This is perfected in the master bathroom. I don't know that I've ever been on vacation where I craved to spend more time in a bathroom! The yard and landscaping were wonderful and we enjoyed spending time out there and enjoying the pool which was perfect. The funny thing was with such a perfect home, it was tough to get out and see San Miguel de Allende which says a lot! When we did walk into town, it was easy, quick and safe. I rarely go to cities twice but I will be back and to enjoy this gem for sure! W. Elder, Portland, OR USA August 31st 2016 San Miguel is a favorite getaway for people from Mexico City. There are many international restaurants and good local food. Common noises heard in San Miguel include church bells, barking dogs, roosters crowing, live or radio music, wedding parties, parades, fiestas, fireworks, road or building construction. Our house keeper is Solidad and she comes daily except Sundays. We do not have a cook. Our garderner works during the week only. The private pool is unheated. Non smoking house. No pets of any size.
