Casa Antonio is a 5 bedroom, fully staffed beachfront house located at the heart of San Agustinillo, Oaxaca, Mexico. Our family built this house to enjoy with friends, to eat well, and to be part of the wonderful community of San Agustinillo. Be prepared for an unforgettable experience. Our house was inaugurated in the summer of 2019. It is ideal for 4 to 5 couples (12 adults) or two small families (6 adults + up to 6 kids) seeking a relaxed and spoiled stay, right on one of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico. Amenities such as a beach shower and with bar service supplied by our staff will make you feel right at home. (Staff is included in the rental price) All rooms have air conditioning and full shower bathrooms. For laundry service provided please refer to welcome kit. Our staff will greet you upon arrival and wish you a safe return home. No keys are needed in Casa Antonio. All rooms have code locks. The rent of the house includes the service of Araceli or Dionisio, our staff, who will be present to guarantee total quality during your stay. Their working schedule is from 8 AM to 5PM. Araceli is our cook and responsable for cleaning the rooms. She will discuss with you the meals to be cooked. She can take care of the food shopping too. Dionisio will serve you as a waiter during meals and serve you drinks and do general cleaning between meals. He is in charge of general downstairs cleaning, pool maintenance and all necessary shopping. San Agustinillo is a 800 hab. town 1 hour away from two international airports (Huatulco and Puerto Escondido). Also, this town sits between two other very well know towns: Zipolite and Mazunte, both very well known for their beautiful beaches, good food and music festivals. You can fly to Huatulco and Puerto Escondido from Mexico City, Oaxaca, Vancouver, Houston and Atlanta...(among others). From both airports you can count about an hour drive to get to the house. Flights from the US vary based on the season (more flights in the winter). If you decide to drive from Mexico city count 10 hours of driving. When we do, we cut in half by staying one night in Acapulco and go to the movies! From Oaxaca it will take you five hours through a beautiful road with a tough two and a half our of constant curves. Rules, meals and personnel schedules The most relevant rules about the use of the house are the following: 1. If three or more rooms are occupied, an extra fee of US$20 per day should be payed, as the are not included in the rent. This fee is the salary of a third staff member that performes general cleaning, helping with cooking and washing, private rooms creaning and setup, and laundry. 2. Check-in and Check-out times is similar to hotels': Check-in: from 3pm; Check-out is at 12 noon. We will try to be as flexible as possible with this rule, when possible. 3. Children under 6 years old are not allowed as the house has a dangerous indoor small pool attached to the living room, which does not have any protection for non-swimmers. Any non-swimmers have to be fully supervised by an adult swimmer. 4. Pets are not allowed. 5. The internet service is pretty good but it sometimes loses signal. Thanks for understanding. 6. The house offers basic hygiene items such as shampoo, soap, towels, toilet paper and tissues; all additional consumer items are to be brought by guest. 7. Six beers, four bottled sparkling waters, the first nineteen liters of drinking water and 1/2 kg of coffee are included with the rent. All additional food and drink should be paid by the guests. Araceli, our cook, can organize the shopping for you, ahead of time. 8. We are not responsible for loss of any of your valuables. Please keep them safe inside the safe located in each room. Keys will be provided to guests by Araceli (our cook). 9. The owners of Casa Antonio are not accountable and will not be responsible in any way for accidents of any sort throughout the house, including in the pool area, on the beach or in the sea. This includes insect stings. 10. Parties are not allowed in the house or its terraces. You can have up to 18 guests for drinks, but the personnel will only serve food to parties of 12 or less. In case you want to have a party or event, we would gladly recommend a neighboring restaurant or hotel. 11. It is forbidden to have loud music after 11 pm, as is can create conflict with neighboring houses. In case you would like to play music in the house or on the breach gazebo, we recommend doing it with the neighbors in mind. A bluetooth speaker is available for your use @ the house. 12. Communication with the owner, house managers or staff must be through the Airbnb chat or through other means, provide before arrival. 13. The house requires that at least one member of our staff sleep in the house during the stay of guests, to guarantee a good service, cleanliness, and operation of the house. The rent of this house includes the service of Araceli (in charge of the kitchen and finances of the house during your stay) and Dionisio, who will serve you as a waiter during meals and serve you drinks and do general cleaning between meals. He oversees general downstairs cleaning, pool maintenance and all necessary shopping. Their working schedule is from 8 AM to 5PM. Araceli will discuss with you the meals to be cooked and the breakfast & lunch schedules. If needed, she can take care of the shopping too. We suggest you give her money in advance for shopping; she will give you a full description list of what was bought and will keep you informed of balances. The following rules apply for meals: Breakfast Breakfast is normally served until 11AM. Although this rule can be flexible, keep in mind that lunch must be prepared and if breakfast is served late, it compromises lunch's preparation and setup. Lunch Lunch should not be served beyond 4PM so that the personnel has time to clean up before their shift is over Extra help As mentioned, if three or more rooms are occupied, a third person is called in to help during your stay: Her name is Delfina and her responsibility is help Araceli during breakfast and lunch, room cleanup and setup + laundry and housekeeping chores. Her fee is $20 dollars/ day for the duration of your stay, and it is not included in the rent. Please deposit this fee if three rooms are occupied or more than 6 people are staying at the house. Dinner extra Araceli, Dionisio & Delfina can work a second shift if you need them to prepare and serve dinner. Their second shift schedule is from 5 to 11 pm with a costs of $15 dollars per person ($300 Mexican pesos) per person. So, $45 dollars for the three to serve dinner and perform house chores until 11pm. Length of stay If your stay is seven days or more, please allow the personnel to have a full free day from work. discuss with them when this could fit your schedule best. Each of them can take their break during different days, so you can always depende on a staff of two. Tips: If your service was satisfactory, we suggest you foresee a tip of $10-$15 dollars per day per person.
