Situated in Vedado, the trendiest part of Havana, this apartment is a stones throw away from an enormous variety of culture and nightlife including cafes, 'paladares' (home-based restaurants), museums, theatres, cinemas, live music, the University of Havana, the Christopher Columbus Cemetery (renowned for its religious iconography and graves of renowned Cuban artists, sportspeople, politicians and revolutionaries) and the famous Revolution Square where Fidel Castro gave many of his most famous speeches. It is conveniently located just a short walk from hotels with internet, great restaurants, historical sites, a local market and live entertainment and exhibitions.Most Cubans take taxis as they are super cheap in Cuba and they can be caught to Old Havana on the same street as the apartment if you so wish. You are also close to 2 other main roads - Paseo that leads to the 'malecon' (boulevard by the sea) and 23rd street which takes you East/West and there are also buses and bikes for hire in Vedado.
