Cinzontle is an open concept house by the sea, and is surrounded by beautiful views of the sea, dunes and tropical landscapes. It is a very functional space that invites relaxation and ample time for rest. Cinzontle allows plenty of opportunities This house is exceptionally spacious and beautifully appointed. The house has a large fully equipped kitchen with a sea view. Guests can enjoy nature and look at the stars while listening to the beautiful sounds of the sea waves lapping on the shore. The incredible dawning light is something to behold, however, the sunsets are truly amazing. The house is 124 feet from the sea. This allows you your privacy and easy access to the sea. The best of both worlds. If you want to sleep, you can choose between beds, or be more daring and sleep in cozy and really refreshing hammocks while you enjoy the sea breezes and the calming sounds of the waves. The Yucatan sea is calm and warm, with quiet beaches that are perfect for walks or jogging on soft sands with sea waves teasing your feet. There are two terraces, one with a roof. The second floor terrace is outdoor so you can look at the beautiful star covered skies. Swimming? Choose between the pool or the sea, we recommend the sea. Make an outdoor barbecue or cook with friends in the kitchen. Cinzontle has internet and cable TV. Puli, is our friendly housekeeper and is always available during your stay to help you in all your needs. San Bruno is a summer destination. However, any other time of the year, it is a quiet and secluded beach area. Cinzontle is a very private location with very few neighbors. San Bruno is a ranch dedicated to coconut production, that is why there are many coconuts trees on the property. In season, you can enjoy fresh coconut water. A vehicle is highly recommended. Telchac is the closest town in the area and is 5.60 miles away. Once there you will find everything you need for your stay. A few feet from the house, in the tidal basin, one can see flamingos, herons and ducks. 3.10 miles from the house you can visit Xcambó, a Mayan Archeological site that is known by few people but a great uncrowded place to see. The city of Mérida, the capital of the Yucatán, is just 40 minutes away by car. You will find it is a vibrant city, full of culture with the friendliest people and exceptional cuisine. Merida truly has exceptional cuisine! You will have access to the entire house, and we really hope that you enjoy it as your own. We politely ask you not to lie in the hammocks if you have suntan lotion on. This way they will remain clean and available for others. As we mentioned before, our Housekeepers, Toño and Jackie will maintain the garden, pool and will help in whatever you need he is very friendly and helpful. He lives in the small house just by the entrance and is available most of the time to help with your needs. I am always available, you can reach me on my cellphone and I will gladly help you with any doubts, questions or concerns may you have. As we mention before, many decades ago San Bruno was a ranch dedicated to coconut production, that’s why there are many coconuts trees. The beaches are quite and the vast majority of the houses around are in front of the sea and are summer houses of Yucatan families. If you cross the highway you can see mangroves, and it is not unusual to find flamingos, herons, pelicans and other seabirds. If you want to have a nice walk you can go to Dzemul highway into the “Laguna Rosada” and walk in between salt dunes and mangroves. You can also go a few miles on and visit Xcambó, Mayan Archeological site, we strongly recommend you take mosquito repellent. The nearest town is Telchac a really laid back fishing town. There you can find gas stations, small grocery stores, pharmacy, etc. A couple miles more and you can go to Motul, the nearest city. Motul is kind of small to be called a city and in a way that is why it makes this city so charming. You can visit the market that is an exact representation of a folkloric view of the Mexican people. You can buy fresh fruits, vegetables and eat amazing tacos and “antojitos”. If your feeling brave enough you can ask for “Huevos Motuleños” the speciality of Motul: Sunny side eggs on tortillas with black beans and cheese with ham, peas, plantains, and salsa picante. Delicious You can also visit a real Hacienda. Hacienda San Eduardo still preserves the Henequen Farming and industrialization tradition that a century ago was the main source of economy in Yucatan and was once known as the “Green Gold” We encourage you to have or rent a car as there is no public transportation from this point. This area is very humid, warm and has a tidal basin close by. We recommend that you always maintain closed mosquito nets. We also ask to take care of the environment, when there isn't need of lights or air conditioner we ask you to turn it off, our world really needs to be eco sensitive. Electricity in Yucatan is extremely costly
