Located on the hillside above Zihuatanejo Bay, the studio apartment is an oasis for adults with spectacular bay views. Located in a complex of only 6 units it is surrounded by gardens and native trees to provide privacy and promote relaxation. The location is within walking distance (about 20 minutes) to La Ropa beach. The luxury retreat shared spaces include a palapa area, infinity pool and sundeck. The studio is located to the back of our property. It has an airy shower with garden view and a private terrace with hammock & lounge chairs that invites you to lounge the day away. The studio has 1 queen-size bed to accommodate a maximum of 2 guests (Please, no children under the age of 12 years). There is a closet, built-in loveseat and desk space. The studio has a modern kitchenette with two burner gas stove, coffeemaker, sink, toaster oven, half height refrigerator, cookware, glassware & utensils. Ceiling fans and A/C are provided to ensure your personal comfort. In order to fully enjoy the tranquility of our tropical Mexican retreat we do not have phones or TVs in the rooms however complimentary WIFI is available. A library of books and various board games are available in the common area. Staff are present on the property to assist with taxis and other questions. Twice weekly maid service is included in the rate. Guests have access to a shared infinity pool with stunning bay view. A covered palapa area is adjacent that can be used for reading, games & relaxation. The shared spaces are wonderful places to meet other renters and make new friends. Prior to your stay we provide information about our place and the town. We are also happy to answer any questions you have during your stay. Please ask us or our staff for assistance with anything that will make your stay more comfortable. Generally we keep in touch via email or Airbnb messaging. We chose this spot to build because it is in a tranquil and beautiful area of Zihuatanejo overlooking the bay and town. We constructed on less than half of our lot preserving the native jungle and many local plants & trees. We are continually amazed by the variety of birds that nest in our trees and bathe in our water fountain. Being surrounded by so many types of native flora and fauna has enriched our lives & allows our renters to wake each morning surrounded by the beauty of tropical Mexico. The studio is located hillside above Playa las Gatas, in the Playa La Ropa neighborhood, with views to the bay, beaches and downtown Zihuatanejo. A walk to La Ropa beach will take about 20 minutes but taxis are inexpensive and easily arranged. There are three restaurants in our vicinity but if you prefer more variety, La Ropa beach has many other options. We are only a few minutes taxi ride away from downtown Zihuatanejo. Mini buses are also available at La Ropa Beach to take you into Zihuatanejo, Ixtapa and beyond. Parking is available on our quiet street for those who wish to rent cars. We have partnered with a reliable english speaking taxi driver when you require a taxi.
