Our 1BR unit has a fully-equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms, deluxe outdoor shower, and private covered patio for dining and lounging. Queen-sized bed, quiet split-unit A/C in both rooms. A separate, covered patio with a gas grill, dining table and romantic lighting is a shared space. Beach chairs, towels & a cooler are provided for your island adventures! Living room/kitchen and large bedroom with queen-sized bed, two full baths, and a private outdoor spa shower off the bedroom. Kitchenette has a four-burner gas stove, oven, coffee maker, full-size fridge, blender, microwave and toaster. Off the bedroom is a covered private dining and lounging area with lighting, fan, outlets, and surrounded by plants. Living room sofa converts into a plush queen-sized bed if guests require separate sleeping spaces. Guests enter the villa through a gate (to keep the horses out!) and follow lighted paths to the unit. You'll first pass through a covered grill patio that's surrounded by giant mango trees, birds of paradise, and banana trees. Very jungly! Next is a covered wood veranda where you'll find the door to your unit, entering in the living room/kitchenette. There is another entrance to the unit in the bedroom, which leads to your outdoor shower and your private covered patio. I live in the front of the house so am available 24/7 if you have any questions or needs. I have my own veranda in the front so you will have privacy in back. (Though you're welcome to come hang out!) I'm always happy to answer any questions you have about the island and assist you in any way I can. Laundry service is available on a $/pound basis. The driveway to the villa is shared with only one tiny house, located up the hill. The villa is surrounded by jungle and is very quiet. Most neighborhoods in Vieques can be a bit noisy with dogs, roosters, and blasting car "radios." The area surrounding Casa Baraka is pure peace and quiet. Of course the famous coqui frogs will serenade you all night long! Parking is available on site. Though the rear veranda is shared, we ask that - since you have your own private outdoor area off the bedroom - you be mindful of the guests in the studio unit, whose door is also on this veranda and who use this area to lounge outside.
