They are harmless but a pain to clean. They fly during the night of a very hard rain, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you leave all the LIGHTS OFF inside the apartment when you leave or while you are in there because these flying termites will come in. It's very hard to predict the date but I know it's around this time of the year. Please TURN OFF ALL the light when expected to come back at night or when leaving at night or if you are in the apartment and see flying bugs do so as well.
