Las Galeras is a beautiful small fishermen's village located at the most eastern point of the Samana's Peninsula in the Dominican Republic. Here you will discover the real dominican life with its peaceful, secluded and unspoiled beaches The main beach and main street with restaurants, bars and minimarkets are at a 3mn walk. Public local transportation is at the end of the street. The public transportation ("guaguas") terminal is at the end of the small dirt road, at less than 1 minute walk. Pick-ups go daily to Samaná (every 15mn from 6:30 am till 6pm) and small buses ("Fermin") come/go straight from/to Santo Domingo every day. Taxis are available on request and we have a free parking. Children under 12 years old do not pay. The wifi is free. We will provide you with free drinking water. Housekeeping is done every day. Laundry can be arranged with the housemaid.
