The simply furnished upper house kitchen comes with a basket of fresh local fruit, Big island coffee and local chocolate The central bedroom, the kitchen and the bathroom are bright and clean, the porch is very relaxing with a great view. A friendly and respectful black cat has taken up residence in the upper Airbnb of late. We have been feeding it dry food, which I supply, and keeping it out of the house itself. I have been asking the guests to do the same. A tiny house that is perfect for the vacationing couple, or solitary type, those seeking to unwind and put their feet up, and those wishing to have a homebase to explore the Hamakua coast that should be increasingly courtesy to return to in the evening. White sandy beaches are 45 minutes from this spot. Further: Hawi about 70 minutes. Hilo is a 50 minute to 1 hour scenic drive from here. And Volcano and Pahoa further on, about an hour and a half.
