Beautiful and peaceful beach house in Santa Maria del Mar, Puerto Barrios, Izabal, a few kilometers away from Punta de Palma. Enjoy the Caribbean Sea, views of the Amatique Bay and plenty of sun from its private beach and dock . The house has a small kitchenette with a small fridge but separate from the house you will find a whole kitchen, dinning and storing area. *For larger groups, there is additional lodging on a different house on the same premises. Feel free to ask about it. It is a quiet and calm space in which you and your family will be able to have contact with nature and sea breeze and enjoy the Caribbean Sea. You'll be able to access all parts of the House and another house to access a full kitchen, dinning room and storing area. The neighborhood is Santa Maria's village, a small not touristy village 5 kilometers away from Punta de Palma and a 20 minute boat ride from Puerto Barrios. Touristic places nearby: Livingston, Rio Dulce, Los Altares, Punta de Palma, Punta de Manabique, Puerto Barrios, Cerro San Hill, Las Escobas. Getting to Casa Sueca: 1. A 45 minute drive (unpaved road) from Santo Tomás de Castilla, Puerto Barrios. Take Vía principal Santa Maria del Mar, Aldea Santa Maria del Mar. * Since it is an unpaved road, it is advisable to use pickup or SUV´s. 2. There should not be any visitors or tourists nearby, only private owners of other private houses nearby. Native people from Santa Maria's village might be passing by, but not inside the private area. Also please take note that the cellphone signal can be poor in some areas of the house.
