Blue View is brand new construction! A classic soft modern Caribbean architecture set on a full acre with sweeping views from sunrise over Ram Head peninsula to sunset over St. Thomas. It is a very special property sited with the utmost care to capture Leeward breezes with an unobstructed view to St. Croix 40mi away. Find the perfect amount of sun or shade you desire at any time during the day. Blue View is a separate villa located adjacent to our main Villa and 6 minutes to Cruz Bay Blue View is brand new construction with vaulted exposed beams ceilings and beautiful traditional St. John stonework. Blue View has 920 sq. ft. of total living space. Over 600 sq. ft. inside and 300 outside. Open almost 30 ft of sliding glass doors and the total space becomes as one. Blue View features A/C, TV, WIFI, new appliances and a King Size Simmons Beautyrest Black line mattress. The kitchen / living area has a new queen size comfort sleeper sofa with no springs or bars. The bathroom has a 10" rain shower head. There is an additional fee of $45 per night per person for each additional person up to four total guest. HOUSE RULES & NOTES FOR BLUE VIEW - We are a no smoking villa. . - Check–In is 3:00 pm and Check-Out is 11:00 am. If early check–in and/or late check-out is requested & available, a fee may apply. - We are usually available to meet you at the ferry and take you to your rental car provider. We will wait for you to get your car and you can follow us to Blue View. - Please plan to arrive at Blue View no later than 8:00 pm. If you are arriving after 8:00 pm, please contact us in advance to make arrangements. - Please help us conserve water! Everyone on St. John gets their water from rainfall collected from the roof in cisterns under the house. We ask that you be conservative with your water usage. The water is collected from rainwater and treated with a triple filtration system then ultra violet light for maximum purification. - Please conserve electricity! Electricity in the Virgin Islands is several times more expensive than stateside. Please be mindful of electricity use: turn off all lights, fans, and A/C when not in Blue View. Your conservation allows us to offer you such reasonable rates. - In the event of a power outage, we have a power reserve that triggers almost immediately. In the event it does not, please do not use any water (flushing the toilet, taking a shower) until the power comes back on. - Please do not leave any food out in the open either on the deck or inside. Please tie up your full trash bags and take them to the trash receptacles. - Please hose off all beach and sandy gear (ask us where). Sand is a very precious natural resource and should be left on the beach. There is a hose provided for your use to wash your beach chairs, feet and any sandy gear. Please hang up your beach towels and swimwear on the clothes drying rack provided. - We provide 4 large plush beach towels. Do not take the bath towels to the beach. - ABSOLUTELY nothing in toilet but toilet paper. No feminine hygiene products or any other paper items or foreign objects. There are no municipal sewage systems on St. John to flush into. Instead every home has a self contained sewage treatment system. These systems are eco friendly and very sensitive and do not tolerate anything but waste and toilet paper or they will malfunction and back up. Trust us, not something you ever want to experience. - ABSOLUTELY nothing down the bathroom sink as well. Same system as above. -While you will enjoy total privacy on your own deck your hosts also live on the premises so we ask that you be considerate and keep the noise levels down. If you want to get wild and loud please visit one of St. John's nightspots. They are a blast! We live in St John full-time in the adjacent main villa. There is a privacy deck and stone wall with locking door that separates the main villa from Blue View. We are available and happy to entertain your questions during your stay in St. John. Blue View is located in a quiet neighborhood 200ft above sea level overlooking Rendezvous Bay and Hart Bay. Fall asleep to the gentle sound of the waves below. The neighborhood has private access to Rendezvous Bay's pebble beach. It's best to rent a car as we are a six minute drive to town and 15 minutes to the famous North Shore beaches.
