A peaceful, quiet, piece of paradise, the hostess has made this gorgeous condo welcoming. Enjoy relaxing in the pools or go across the street and down the road to the beach, Los Machos, only a 5 minute drive. Try local bakeries or the amazing restaurants dotting the area. Marina Puerto del Rey is next door. The ferry is close by to take you to beautiful islands of Culebra or Vieques. Fajardo is very close. El Yunque, the tropical rain forest is a short drive as well. This condo has 24 hour security making it safe and free from worries. You will have access to pools , bubble tub (lukewarm), weight room, tennis court, basketball court (bring a ball), play ground, not to mention a beach just on the other side of the main road (about 4 miles). Relax on the patio or watch your favorite show. We put in a 65 inch TV. There is Internet! Everything you need to relax is here. The entire condo property is accessible. The pools close at 9 pm. Although we do not live there, we have someone on site to take care of any needed problems. We are also ready with a cell phone in hand to assist you. Enjoying the Ocean: The entire east coast of the island is the most gorgeous. Los Machos beach is very close to the condo. It is not very busy and it offers a quiet atmosphere. It is not a groomed beach. I think it is one of the warmest to swim though. WE love it! The famous MARINA PUERTO del REY is close by. It offers daily charters of sailboats and catamarans to several nearby islands such as Palominos, Isleta Marina, and Icacos for swimming, snorkeling, or diving with full service. Local companies and marinas organize guided tours to practice jet skis, deep-sea fishing, horseback riding, four tracks zip-lines and kayaking, especially at night in the bioluminescent Laguna Grande. This is a favorite for most tourists. The tropical rain forest, El Yunque, is one of our best places to visit. It is only a short drive from the condo. There is also the San Juan Lighthouse, Luquillo Beach, Seven Seas Beach in Fajardo and Mario Beach to enjoy. Eating and Shopping: Ceiba is a very small town. It has little local stores that can be enjoyable. We like the panaderias (bakeries), the chinese food place, the comado (little convenience store), Williams Pizza, and Walgreens. There is a Burger King and Amigo grocery store too. Fajardo is only about 10 minutes away. The restaurants are plentiful and you might just get the best seafood experience of your life here. They also have grocery stores, pharmacy, and Always99 store, a movie theater, Kmart, Walmart, and just about everything you might need. A car is the best transportation. The air conditioning units are in the three bedrooms only. The living room has a nice cross breeze when you open the doors and turn on the ceiling fan. The main WIFI connection is in the family room. We do not have it in the bedrooms yet.
