A private room with en-suite bathroom in 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment, walking distance to the beach, Hip Strip and airport. Living room, kitchen and kitchen patio are shared with other guests (one or two). Please note, the apartment is located on the main street with a passing traffic noise. If you are a light sleeper, this place and this area in general is not for you. It's not a gated community. Summit police station is next to our building. Gloriana hotel is a few minutes walk from us. We are located in the old complex that looks worn out from outside but everything inside is new. The apartment is on the second floor. You should climb stairs, the stairs are steep. We have fully equipped kitchen and parking available on premises. TV is in the living room and in your bedroom (Smart TV, no cable TV). We have a very unique location as we are within walking distance to the airport, Hip Strip (10 min), Doctor's Cave Beach and Starbucks. In addition, there is a free Dead End beach within 7-10min walk from us. We have a local restaurant right in front of us and a convenience store at Gloriana hotel. Harmony Park with it's free beach is 25-30 minutes walk from us. Public taxis are right outside the door. You can walk from the airport if you don't have a lot of luggage. Or take a route taxi (departures side) for 1$ per person (shared ride with others) and ask a driver to stop by Summit Police station. Noisy: there is a construction at the next door apartment. The building looks run down from outside, but everything inside is new. We are located on the second floor, you should climb stairs. The stairs are steep. TV is in the living room. Smart TV, no cable. To use paid subscriptions like Netflix, Prime etc., please log in to your personal accounts. The iron is in the kitchen. The ironing board is in the bedroom closet. Water, electricity and internet disruptions/outages are not rare in Jamaica. We don't have a backup water tank/generator/internet. There are bottles of water at the apartment in case if water disruption occurs. That water is not for drinking.
