We are in the center of town. Our house is only 150 m. from the Lake, 500 m. from the Zocalo (Main Square), and 500 m. from the Mercado Municipal (Main Market). Close to everything, but a green secluded oasis. Private patio, and our wonderful big (1000 m2) garden and our rooftop terrace. There is always someone close by to help with anything you need . Please be aware that we are in the town of Bacalar - and that Mexico is known as "The Country of Sounds". Chickens, cars & trucks with LOUD advertising messages, parties and all kinds of noises. In our neighborhood, there are discotheques and bars nearby, and especially weekends tend to be loud. If you are sensitive to noise, we would recommend a stay outside of town. But this is Mexico, and there are no guarantees - one of the neighbors may have a party just when you are there, or they may have chicken. Taxis are cheap and plentiful, 30 pesos around town. Colectivos and Buses take you to Chetumal, or North towards Tulum.
