A very functional studio apartment with just about everything you need for a few days stay. Totally furnished, lots of natural light, kitchenette, counter, desk, king size bed, all conveniently spread out through the apartment area without feeling cramped in. No neighbours above or at the sides. Also, a lovely chandelier hanging from a hand made brick dome for that homey, mexican touch. An ideal space for couples traveling! The Casa Baden-Powell is an old house located within the historic district of Morelia. It is a restored and rehabilitated house that offers our times' comfort and, at the same time, it remains located within the beautiful colonial realm of old Morelia. The house has a very nice terrace and patio for the use of all guests, but certainly the best amenity is the city itself. You will be located at the middle of all interesting places to see. I give my guests all independence, but I am available if they need my help. The apartment is located within the quartier of our Lord of the Pilar. This is the old quartier of the slaves in old Valladolid (Morelia's former name). This is a place with nice restaurants, small plazas, local residents, and it is quite safe. The neighborhood is well communicated with public transportation and it has parking lots for private vehicles. Most houses have no garages, due to the time they were built, mostly within XVI and XVIII centuries. Our house has no garage, but there is a public parking lot with moderate prices at some 50 meters from our door. The house is located just one block from Madero Avenue, just as close to the cathedral as to the XVIII century aqueduct. It is very easy to walk to any of the architectural treasures of Morelia, world heritage from UNESCO.
