Less than 10 minutes from airport, you can be in the ocean less than 30 minutes after landing. Walk from the lobby to the beach in 50 steps! Fresh water 25-meter full-sized pool is even closer. The building has security 24/7. Marysol is located in the center of the Isla Verde tourist area, which is within less than 10 minutes from the airport. A great number of restaurants, offering anything from local foods to pizzas to sushi and steak houses, and several major casinos are, are within 300 yards, which is easy walking distance. The largest local car rental company, Charlie Car Rentals, which usually has the best deals on the island, is right across the street, as is a Walgreens, which is open 24/7. Two supermarkets (also open 24/7) are also close by. Although you can find everything you need within walking distance, there is a bus stop right in front of the building which has buses that go all the way to Old San Juan, so a car-less vacation is definitely feasible. One underground parking space belongs to the property and is available for our guests, free of charge. The property itself is large and roomy and tastefully arranged. It is fully air conditioned and features wifi throughout. It contains all that you might need for a quiet, relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable vacation, from kitchen utensils to beach chairs to large flat-screen TV's in each room. It fronts directly on the Isla Verde beach and is on the 9th floor, with great views on three sides - the beach and ocean to the North and the city to the East and South. In addition to direct access to the beach the building features a full-size 25-meter fresh-water swimming pool and lounging area. Guest have access to all the facilities in the building, including the pool and basketball courts. Rules are posted and must be respected. We understand that our guests value their privacy. We will be just a phone call away for any needed assistance. A House Book is provided in the property as a helpful guide for our guests. It contains all the essential information about the property, shopping, restaurants, emergency services, etc. Our Guest Services Supervisor is on duty daily and can be reached by phone or text from 8AM to 8PM. Getting to Marysol Some general comments to help orient you: Marysol is located In Condominio Marbella del Caribe Este, 5349 Avenida Isla Verde in the Isla Verde area of Carolina, Puerto Rico. The property is unit 912 in the East building. Arriving from the airport and points East (rain forest, etc.) 1 - As you drive West on Route 26 (more commonly known as Avenida Baldorioty de Castro) you pass the main airport entrance/exit to your right. Or if you are coming out of the airport bear right onto Route 26. 2 - Continue past the airport, and just past the airport pass the Embassy Suites Hotel on your right. 3 - Take the next exit to your right, to Isla Verde Avenue. At the exit there is a Burger King on your right, and just past the exit is a Banco Popular and a pedestrian overpass over Route 26. 4 - You immediately come to a traffic light. Turn right. 5 - Immediately on your right you pass the Trypp Isla by Wyndham Hotel. 6 - Get into the left lane. After about 150 yards you pass Allied Car Rental on your right. 7 - Right after there is a large speed bump/pedestrian crossing. Ahead to your right, on the corner, is Pizza City. 8 - At the speed bump turn left into the entrance to the Marbella del Caribe parking lot, which is just past the speed bump. To the left of the entrance is a pedestrian walkway that gives access to the beach. 9 -The entrance gate requires a remote control unit to open, which you don't have. But there is a speaker box on the left which lets you communicate with the security guard. Tell him you are going to the East building, and he will open the gate. 10 - Turn right into the parking lot and drive down to the second building on the left (the East building), to the security desk at the lobby entrance. 11 - You can park the car there for 15 minutes. 12 - In the event that you are arriving too late to be met by a representative the security guard will have been advised. Give him your name and indicate that you are going to unit 912. 13 - He will open the lobby door for you. The elevators are to the right around the corner. 14 - Go to the 9th floor. 912 is to your right when you leave the elevator area, and it is the last unit at the end of the hallway. 15 - On the gate in front of the apartment is a lock box. Lower the cover and enter the 4-digit code that you have been given. There is a little lever to the left of the tumblers; press it down and the lock box opens, and the emergency set of keys with a green tag is inside. 16 - Use these keys to open the apartment. Inside it you will find the main keys on the table and also the remote control unit to get into the parking lot and to the underground garage. Please return the lock box key set to the lock box, this is the emergency set. Scramble the code. 17 - Take the keys and the remote control unit back to the car. 18 - Drive back to the main gate (the sign says Do Not Enter, just disregard it) and turn right, down to the underground parking lot. Use one of the 2 buttons on the remote control unit to open the gate, you usually have to get quite close to the gate for it to activate. 19 - Once inside turn right, continue until you are under the second building and park in space 240, on your left. This is your exclusive parking space. 20 - The elevator area is about 25 yards before the parking space, on the right as you drive in. The keys include a gray chip that will give you access to the gate by the elevators. Take your luggage up to the apartment. 21 - Each key set consists of several keys, two for the front door of the apartment and gate and one gray chip for access to the building, the beach and the pool. Beach chairs, beach towels, an umbrella and a cooler are provided in the property for the use of our guests. Please note that shampoo and conditioner are not included, since everybody has their own favorites. There is a Walgreens right across the street where you may purchase any necessities. The building has security 24/7 at the entrance to the lobby.
