There you will find restaurants, shops, and two grocery stores, everything you could need. About a 50 minute drive to Hilo and the Volcano National Park. The living room and dining area: Provides a comfortable sofa and chairs. It has a large flat screen Roku TV connected to the WiFi along with premium sound system. Pub-style dining table with four chairs located close to kitchen. The Kitchen: The brand new kitchen, with a gleaming Quartz counter top and modern fixtures is well stocked with all essentials. Bedroom: Has a brand new high-quality queen size bed and linens. Tall ceilings, large closet, and charming wood cabin feel. Bathroom: Newly renovated. Subway tile, glass walled walk-in shower, and new toilet, sink and faucet. Outdoor Lanai: Fully covered so that you can enjoy this space in any weather. Comfortable sofa and chairs. Resident vacates the home when rented, so guests have exclusive and private use of the home during their entire stay. We are always available if you should need anything! There is a covered carport attached to the home for convenient parking. Staying connected and WiFi: We have fast fiber internet. Enough speed to accommodate telecommuting, Zoom meetings, streaming movies in 4k and vacation photo uploads. Cell service at the house and immediate surrounding area can be spotty. We recommend that you connect your cell phone through our WiFi. Good neighbor policy: No loud noise please. The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. It's best suited for guests who are looking for a quiet get away and retreat. Loud music and parties are discouraged at all times. Our Hawaiian Vacation Rental Permit requires no noise after 9PM. Good Neighbor rules are posted in the house, as required by local law. PLEASE NOTE: During your stay, you may encounter the landscaping team. Sustainable design and care for our island. We employ as many sustainable design principles as possible, This means: 1. No air conditioning. The house is designed/sited for a natural cross-flow catching the abundant coastal trade winds. We have fans if needed. 2. Water collection: we collect our abundant rainwater. It is filtered and can be used for drinking water. 3. Electricity: we use the latest in LED lighting technologies to reduce our energy usage. 4. Living wage: we pay a living wage to all our staff to help your community thrive. 5. If an extended stay is booked there will be a cleaning fee each month.
