This light and airy third floor apartment with modern furnishings, enjoys views across Stroud valley with exposed beams and high ceilings. The fitted kitchen with cooker, hob and other appliances, draws you into a lovely, open plan living/dining area. This third story walk-up has no elevator but a bright and well lit stairwell. Upon entering the foyer you will be amazed by the natural light and stunning views from every window. There is no immediate parking at the flat, however the pay and display lot is above the High Street and Parliament Street is approximately 3 pounds for a 24 hour stay. Situated on Pedestrian-friendly High street, there are a wealth of shops and amenities right on your door step. The meeting point of the five valleys, the historic town of Stroud is a well-known center for arts and crafts as well as it's wonderful weekly farmers market. Within walking distance there are a wide choice of restaurants and pubs, one of my favourites is The Cornerhouse on London Road, that serves mediterranean food with the freshest local ingredients . Of course, local fish and chips are available in abundance! Right across the street from the apartment is a fabulous coffee shop and directly down a small alleyway is a locally owned specialty wine and beverage shop (The Stroud Wine Company). Just around the corner you will find a fantastic small natural foods market, (Sunshine health shop.) Offering a wide array of choices for the health conscious. ' Stroud train station is a mere four minute walk from the apartment and has good transport links with Central London, Paddington station is ninety minutes (approximately ) by train and Bath or Bristol forty five minutes by car. Within a ten minute walk you will find Waitrose, which is a large, high end grocery store offering a wide array of everything, (from everyday necessities to the most extraordinary ingredients.) .There are numerous hiking and biking trails around Stroud, Painswick and Nailsworth are accessible by bike, taxi or bus. Tetbury Village, an antique lovers paradise is 10.8 miles away. Highgrove House the cotswold retreat of Prince Charles is in the area..
