Accommodates up to 3 guests. Located on the second floor of a beachfront guesthouse in Piñones - Loíza. Studio counts with a balcony and outdoor dinner table with pool and ocean view. A perfect area to have breakfast and listening to the crashing ocean waves. The apartment is equipped with: - Pillow top queen size bed - Twin bed for a third guest. - High-efficiency air conditioning unit - Smart TV and DirecTV programming - Closet The studio also counts with a private bathroom shower with solar water heater. We provide: - Bed linens - Bathroom towels - Toilet paper - Beach towels In case you want to prepare your food or have refreshments at you hand, kitchen is set up with an: - Electrical counter top stove - Refrigerator - Microwave - Coffee maker - Pots and pans - Tableware and silverware - Coffee table Outdoors include pool, gazebos and beach patio area. Reservations of +5 nights includes one cleaning service and bed linens/towels will be changed during mid-stay. Only registered guests and number of guests listed on your booking are allowed to stay and enjoy the property. All infants and minors are counted as a guests. They should be included and counted in the total sum of guests. Only you and your 2 companions will have access to the Sea Change Studio Apartment. - Pool, gazebos, beach patio, garage and laundry cloud be shared with other guests or the host. This apartment is part of a guesthouse consisting of four apartments. - One parking available in the garage. Vehicles such as pick up trucks, full size and premium SUV will not be able to park in the garage. - Access to laundry is for reservations of +7 nights. - Hair dryer upon request - Property counts with water tanks and generator in case of emergency. We are located in Piñones - Loíza, Puerto Rico. At 5 miles form the international airport Luis Muñoz Marin, and other tourist attractions in Isla Verde. Piñones is a neighborhood part of Loíza Municipality. Famous for the local restaurants along PR-187 Road, where you can eat mofongo, trifongo (our favorite), pinchos, sea food, alcapurrias, bacalaitos and more. During weekends you will see more movement in the area since locals and tourist love to visit and enjoy a good beer, dinner and music. The area also has the Piñones State Forest. An unique ecosystem of more than 1,376 acres of mangrove and with a variety of flora and fauna. In it there are many species of birds, of which 46 are endangered species. Along the Piñones forest you will find an 8-mile promenade between the beach and the mangrove. Which is perfect for a walk, exercise and bike ride. Our Torrecilla Baja Lagoon is also famous for tarpon fishing tournaments and charters. Loíza is also known as the “The Capital of Traditions". Loíza is one of the few places in Puerto Rico where our African heritage is vividly represented. In Loíza the African heritage of music and dance is kept alive in the bomba and plena, notably by the Hermanos Ayala. You can visit COPI, a community entity that provide bomba dance lessons, plus rent bikes and kayaks. In the other hand, those who visit us will see some houses that seem abandoned. Many of them are being remodeled since Hurricane Maria. Neighbors are very friendly. The neighborhood has very picturesque areas and other ones perfect to relax and to be in contact with nature. Neighborhood tends to be dark at night since we have red or amber lighting at the main road to mitigate light pollution and help marine species, such as turtles to nest on our beaches. WE ALWAYS RECOMMEND TO RENT A CAR. Specially If you are planning to mover around, explore the island and visiting areas such as Old San Juan, Condado, El Yunque and other tourist attractions we recommend renting a car. Property counts with access to one parking space (free). Visitors can do most of the sightseeing/excursions on their own. We always recommend to do some research before arriving to the island. UBER is an affordable option to move around during weekends. They are able to pickup and drop you at the airport. We recommend it if you are planning just to relax at the property and no need of daily or constant transportation. Public transportation is available at the main street (crossing the street). Taxis are another option to get from the airport to the guest house and to move around Isla Verde - Condado - San Juan area. Rates start from $12. An average taxi rate from the airport to our property should be around $16 to $25. We look forward to provide you a calm environment at the guesthouse. We are in a small but active area full of local restaurants, beach and surfing spots where locals and tourist come to enjoy. WE ALWASY RECOMMEND TO RENT A CAR. Specially if you need daily transportation or planning to move around. Take note that in weekends and holidays you find traffic to access the area. UBER is an affordable option (during weekdays) for short distances such as Isla Verde, Old San Juan, Condado, Santurce and/or Carolina. Our beach is perfect to sunbathe. Strong currents and swells are common. OUR FAVORITES BEACH SPOTS: > LA POCITA BEACH - a natural beach pond protected by the rocks. Just at 15 minutes walk in boardwalk or 2 minutes drive. > VACIA TALEGA -a beautiful beach spot prefect for family and kids. Is just 15 minutes drive. In your way you will find couple kiosk such as El Boricua, famous for their alcapurrias and more. Public transportation available in front of the beac too. > Piñones is also known for beach coves for surfing too, such as Aviones and/or Tocones Beach. > ISLA VERDE BEACH - one of the bests urban beaches in the word. Just 5 miles from the property. Beachfront bar/restaurants available too. > BALNEARIO DE CAROLINA - public beach with bathroom, showers and parking area. We reserve the right of admission. NO PARTIES, MEETINGS OR VISITS ARE ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM OCCUPATION. YOU WILL BE FORCED TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY AND WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY REFUND. There will be a penalty of $150.00 per unregistered person/visitors and per day/night established to the maximum number of guests in the confirmation of the stay.
