Casa Verde is located 150 meters from beautiful Playa Negra. It is an easy 15 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride to the village of Cahuita and Cahuita National Park. Within walking distance you have an excellent choice of restaurants and bars. Beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house 150 m from Playa Negra, Cahuita. Casa Verde boasts a lush garden and relaxing hammock area. The ground floor has one bedroom and bathroom, kitchen and living room. The bedroom has a very comfortable PILLOWTOP mattress. It is not air conditioned. Each room has its own ceiling fan and is designed to take advantage of the ocean breeze. Upstairs is the spacious master bedroom and ensuite. The master bedroom has AIR CONDITIONING. The King Size Bed has an amazing PILLOWTOP mattress. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves and wake to the sounds of rain forest birds. Due to an open staircase Casa Verde is not suitable for children under 12. Casa Verde has excellent internet and secure parking. The caretaker lives in an apartment at the back of the property and can assist with booking tours, car rental and more extensive itineraries of Costa Rica. Casa Verde is walking distance to Playa Negra, Cahuita National Park and the village of Cahuita. with its choice of restaurants and bars. Nearby there are yoga classes offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You can hear the sounds of the jungle whilst taking your yoga class. Private transport can be arrangement from San Jose Airport to Cahuita or you can take the public bus from Central San Jose. The Public bus runs 6 times a day. Cahuita offers a very laid back way of life and has the stunning combination of beautiful beaches and a great selection of restaurants. Weekly and Monthly rates available In Cahuita it is possible to walk or bicycle to the main attractions - beach, National Park, restaurants and shops. There are also numerous taxis that can assist you. At Casa Verde you have secure parking. If you drive to the National Park you will need to pay a small fee to park - approximate $3 per day. I usually work from 8am - 4pm from the apartment at the back of the property and am available to assist with tour planning/booking, transport or just general information on Cahuita. If I am not in Cahuita I have an excellent property manager that will check guests in and is available by phone for queries. I am also available via email when I am not in Cahuita. As per COVID protocol guests are encouraged to contact me by whatsapp or email rather than in person. Casa Verde is located at Playa Negra. It is close enough to walk into the village of Cahuita but just the right distance to return to a quiet neighborhood to sleep. The nearest bar - Reggae Bar is a 5 minute walk from Casa Verde. The nearest restaurant - Sobre Las Olas is a 3 minute walk from Casa Verde and they serve amazing seafood. The local bus system allows guests to explore the southern Caribbean area without having to rent a car. Buses to Puerto Viejo depart every hour and every 2 hours to Manzanillo. Buses to Limon depart every 30 minutes and stop at the Sloth Sanctuary. You can rent bicycles and use that as your transport around the village.
