"La Casa Carlota" is a concept B&B house with character, warmness and relaxing atmosphere located in the heart of Oaxaca, just in the middle of "El Barrio de Xochimilco", another Oaxacan charming old neighbourhood full of culture and tranquility. This house was rebuilt with the idea of merging Oaxacan folklore and modern comfort with an old-modern-forever concept where walls, space and a blue sky enables a unique experience. This house offers five comfortable and decorated rooms with Oaxacan folklore to host you with a peaceful sense of intimacy. Each room include its own toilet and amenities. There is also common areas where you can relax, read and enjoy with intimacy and tranquility. "La Casa Carlota" has two rooms located in the ground floor and three in the second floor, all rooms facing our patio where breakfast is served everyday. "La Casa Carlota" also has a gallery with Oaxacan art craft in the ground floor and an open roof terrace in the third floor where you can read, take a coffee or just relax seeing Oaxacan sunsets and dusks. A local and friendly staff will welcome you at all times. They will help and guide you to know Oaxaca and its surroundings. Do not hesitate to ask them about nearby restaurants, coffee shops or touristic attractions. "La Casa Carlota" is in the middle of "El Barrio de Xochimilco" is yet another of Oaxaca’s charming old neighbourhoods full of culture and tranquility. The street of Rufino Tamayo, where "La Casa Carlota" is located also host an aqueduct which was built in the XVIII century and supplied water to Oaxaca city until 1940. Walk, walk and walk! "La Casa Carlota" is located in the heart of Oaxaca City, . "La Casa Carlota" is just 10 minutes away from The Temple of Santo Domingo and 15 minutes from the downtown. "La Casa Carlota" just up the way from the trendy bars and restaurants, about 5 minutes from the most amazing historical treasures such as "Temple of Santo Domingo" and about 10 minutes walk to the touristy Zocalo (just far enough). Just around the corner, there is a local bakery (Pan con madre y hojas sueltas), a coffee shop (Cafe el Volador) or a restaurant (Restaurant el Quinque). Does it looks familiar for You?
