Stay here if you want your own private home with enclosed front and back outdoor spaces and an unobstructed view of desert, ocean and city. Neighbors are near enough, but not too close. We offer wonderful amenities including pool, tranquility, & nature close up. Beautiful colonial style home overlooking desert and Bay of La Paz 20 minutes from downtown and malecon. Home offers complete privacy but has neighbors nearby. Spacious enclosed ramada deck and pool in back and courtyard patio in front. Beautifully landscaped, quiet setting, and has amenities close by in town of El Centenario as well as La Paz city. One mile from the water, with numerous beaches to chose from in the Bay of La Paz and north on the Sea of Cortez, as well as snorkeling and diving in the Espiritu Santo islands nature area offshore. World-class white sand beaches are 20 minutes away. House is great for families, and small pets are allowed for a small fee. Very accessible with main living on one level. House has air conditioning, has comfortably furnished great room, well stocked kitchen with refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave, and excellent equipment for gourmet meals. There is a flatscreen tv with ipod dock for music and movies, and a small movie and music library. The house has wireless internet. Each bedroom has a bathroom with shower, and master has a bathtub. There is a washer and dryer as well. Outside on the ramada are a charcoal barbecue and comfortable deck furniture to relax with the view and swim in the pool. There is a walled and gated entertainment space near the pool. It has a garden bed with flowering plants, a tiled counter and a flagstone floor. We are in the process of creating an outdoor kitchen there, but the planned barbecue and pizza oven / fireplace are not yet in place. The space is fully enjoyable now however for additional lounging by the pool. This house is great for nature and bird watching from the ramada or the poolside entertainment space. Sunrise over La Paz and its mountains is spectacular, and at night, star viewing is fabulous with the unobstructed views and clear dark sky. As a matter of fact, the owners use this area for astronomy - bring your own telescope! Guests have access to the entire house, except for a few storage boxes in the guest bedroom closet and over the master bedroom closet. El Centenario is a working class Mexican town about 20 minutes away from downtown La Paz. Our neighborhood is residential, with American, Canadian, and Mexican families. A car is necessary to get around. Please enjoy all the furnishings provided with our home. There are many options both inside and outside our home. Please don’t rearrange the indoor furniture or take it outside. Please feel free to move the outdoor furniture as needed. Please do light or small loads in the washing machine. Large items and too many items at one time will damage the washing machine. Victor our property manager can direct you to a laundry service nearby if needed for larger loads.
