Our house manager will meet you at the car rental agency in Vieques (you must rent a car while on Vieques to enjoy all the wonderful beaches, go to the grocery store, restaurants, etc.). The house manager is available via telephone. (He does not live on the property.) Absolute privacy is the utmost essential at Quinta Jabali. The villa is located on a rural hillside in the La Hueca sector of Vieques. We are only 3 miles from Esperanza and very close to Playa Grande and Playa Negra. A rental car is required in order to stay at the villa (a car is required - golf carts and UTVs are not allowed). It is located in a rural area. There is no Uber on Vieques, and very limited taxi service. We highly recommend making a rental car reservation as soon as your travel plans are made. We reserve the right to cancel a villa rental if you do not have a rental car. Cars must be rented on Vieques. Non-residents are not allowed to take rental cars on the ferry from the main island of Puerto Rico to Vieques. For safety reasons, we do not allow golf carts or UTV's on the property. The villa is located on the island of Vieques, an island off the coast of Puerto Rico. Guests must rent a car on Vieques to use while on the island. The villa is in a rural area. We can provide you with information about getting to Vieques from the main island of Puerto Rico and rental car options. We can't stress enough the importance of having a rental car. We highly recommend renting a car as soon as you make your villa reservation. Cars are in short supply on Vieques. DO NOT FORGET TO MAKE A CAR RESERVATION! Due to the location of the villa on a prominent hill overlooking the south side of Vieques Island, we cannot allow golf carts or scooters on the property. Safety issues and concerns prevent us from allowing golf carts, UTVs, or scooters on the property.
