Our cabin has all the essentials of home, coffee, tea, cooking spices. The kitchen is also stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. We are located 20 miles from Soldotna. There is a gas station, cafe & grocery store about 7 miles away. We overlook Cook Inlet & have a towrope to the beach. There is a road to the beach a mile down the road. We are located 7 miles from the Kasilof river & 6 from the mouth of the river. You have your own gas grill & firepit with plenty of firewood. The upstairs has a loft with 2 double beds & 1 twin. The bedroom has a queen & a pack and play crib. The cabin has satellite tv and internet. The stairs in the cabin are ship-stairs, very steep. I’m not handicap accessible at this time. If you have mobility issues this is not ideal, the stairs are straight up. I’m sorry. The front yard, bluff swing, rope tow to the beach, outside grill, & firepit. We also have a fish cleaning table, but you are responsible for taking the guts to the beach, we can give you a ride. I am usually on the property but always available by phone. If you need something you have forgot, I will always try to accommodate. We want our clients Alaskan experience, to be everything they wanted and more. We can tell you where to go Halibut or salmon fishing, or clamming. If you like to pick berries there are usually wild ones in season in the summer. We also have plenty of wildlife in the neighborhood, moose, black bears, porcupines, squirrels & lots of birds the biggest are eagles. Fishing, people come to fish, and walk the beach, or just to relax. We also have a large assortment of birds, the biggest being the bald eagle. There is always something going on in the summer on the peninsula, depending on your interests. We are here to help with making your vacation everything you want to do. The Kasilof river is just 7 miles away and the mouth of the river is 6 miles away. We are remote from the city life, no shopping malls out here. Just beach combing & fishing with sunsets. There is a gas station, liquor store,cafe, post office and small grocery store within 7 miles of the cabin. But the main cities are within 20 miles and they have everything the city has to offer. If you look up the Kenai Peninsula it will give you a better picture. The Kenai airport is 30-45 minutes away, depending on traffic. No pets allowed, please don’t ask. There is plenty of parking available, if you are bringing off-road vehicles, please let me know. The cabin has internet & satellite tv.
