CORALWOOD-DRAGON FRUIT SUITE is a soothing, bright and open apartment that is a romantic getaway for any couple (2 adults only - no one under the age of 14) Our lovely apartment features include a mini-split A/C, a comfy king-sized bed, safe, off-street parking and a full kitchen. Enjoy the hot tub after snorkeling all day or sip your morning coffee under the Gazebo while looking over Princess Bay/Hurricane Hole and the beautiful British Virgin Islands. This is everything needed for a comfortable stay while you enjoy snorkeling, hiking and swimming nearby. We even provide beach chairs, cooler and beach towels (sorry - no snorkel gear). Just bring your suits and you'll be ready to go! There is a private entrance to this nearly 550sf 2nd floor studio apartment and a real parking area (not just a roadside spot - your car will love the view!) Security camera in parking/drive area only. Residential neighborhood, midway up the mountain overlooking the north end of Coral bay area. Beautiful view of the Princess bay - Hurricane Hole - and BVI A automobile is best for STJ and definitely necessary for staying outside Cruz Bay. An AWD or 4x4 is convenient (not required) due to curvy, hilly, bumpy roads BUT a high clearance vehicle is very desirable. We have a graveled off-street parking with a small turn around area. Keep in mind - we drive on the left! Don't be worried - You'll be surprised how easy it is to get used to. I’ve got a comprehensive list of car rental companies I will forward immediately after booking (Airbnb parents sending any sooner) NO GUESTS UNDER THE AGE OF 14 - even infants Cooler, Beach chairs and towels provided. (SORRY - Snorkel gear no longer provided due to sanitary concerns) STARLINK Internet access. Netflix and Amazon Prime provided - NO CABLE TV. Coral Bay is the relaxed side of the island, but it is also off the public transport route. While it is possible to tour the island without a car, it is only for the most athletic, adventurous travelers. YOU WILL WISH YOU HAD RENTED A CAR IF YOU STAY ANYWHERE ON ST JOHN OTHER THAN CRUZ BAY. PLEASE NOTE - Coralwood is for sale, so there may be an occasional viewing by a potential buyer. We will do our best to limit any showing between the hours of 11 and 3:30 with at least 24 hours notice. On average we have had less than one showing per month so this is unlikely to impact your stay. We ask only that you put away any valuables so they are out of sight (out of prudence) Any sales contract would include commitment to honor all bookings, which is typical here on St John - so your booking is safe.
