Main house and two-story chalet (connected by EXTERNAL stairs) in quiet Rancho Cortéz neighborhood. EXCLUSIVE access to gorgeous garden, pool, main house, chalet, patio + full kitchen. BBQ, patio furniture, Internet, cable TV and other amenities. The main house has two bedrooms (each w/ full bath), a living room, dining room, half-bathroom, kitchen and attached terrace. The two-bedroom "chalet" is set back from the main house and has two independent bedrooms (connected by EXTERNAL stairs). Each with its own full bathroom, queen bed and individual bed (stored UNDER the queen). The downstairs bedroom has large table + two love seats. The upstairs has a reading area/library, couch and (small) TV connected to the internet. Guests have exclusive and unlimited access to an enormous and BEAUTIFUL garden and pool. Up to 4 guests have access to the main house. All additional guests ($30usd/person. Up to 6 additional people) can use the "chalet" bedrooms. Guests will have coordinated access with full-time gardener and his wife. Upon arrival a set of keys will be provided so you can let yourself in/out at your convenience. The gardener and his wife live on premises and can be counted on to help with any small details. We will be sure that the rooms are ready with clean towels, soap and linens. She will not be cleaning up behind you during your stay - please leave the house how you found it. If you want more attention (daily clean up, washing clothes, or cooking) you can negotiate a price directly with the gardener's wife. Rancho Cortes is a secluded neighborhood 15 min. above downtown Cuernavaca. It's cooler in the hottest months, quiet and very safe. It is reached from the first Cuernavaca exit off of the federal highway, making it easily accessed from Mexico City. There is a call-in taxi service (taxi de sitio) just 5 min. away. Uber also works in Cuernavaca with very reasonable prices and response times. Pullman de Morelos buses arrive/leave every 15-30 min. from the Mexico City Airport and the Tasqueña bus terminal. Taxi fare from the Cuernavaca terminal is approx. 60.00 MXN (USD $3.00). We have room for as many as 3 vehicles to park, in case you/your group arrives in a car. The garden is an absolute gem. We provide patio furniture - a table w/ umbrella + 4 chaise lounges. There is also charcoal grill (briquettes not included) in case you want to prepare a "carne asada". The pool is solar-heated (just the sun, no solar panels). It may not be super-warm all year, but even in the coldest months (winter) kids are happy to jump in. A very large, but friendly dog lives in a fenced in area separate from the house and garden. He (Buky) will NEVER be let out while a reservation is in progress. Guests are advised to ensure that their pets (particularly cats) DO NOT enter the fenced-in area.
