Vallarta, kind of the city's main street (but not noisy), very close to Av. Chapultepec, near Universidad de Guadalajara (Museum & Administrative bldg), American Consulate, Alliance Francaise, 15 minutes walk to Downtown & 20 minutes ride to Expo Guadalajara. Equipped independent apartment in a renewed 1930s house in the heart of charming Colonia Americana. Access granted to a nice, quiet courtyard. Access through the main entrance, independent access to the apt. Access to the courtyard (shared with me and with other guests) through a door from the apartment that can be locked and will guarantee your privacy. I'm usually upstairs. I live just there. Colonia Americana is a centric, charming, well communicated neighbourhood with many grand houses built in the 1920s to 1950s, now with many (good) restaurants & bars (fortunately not really close to the house, but just a few blocks away). Conveniently close to downtown and near turistic and commercial areas. Trolley & bus pass in front of the house. Subway 900 m (1/2 mile) away. Bike-sharing station just around the corner. Parking lots (pay) nearby. There's usually space in nearby streets also (pay via app). At night (8 PM - 10 AM) cars may stay in parking spaces (for free) just outside the house -at your own risk. On Sundays, the street in front of the house closes from 8 AM to 2 PM for biking, rollerblading, skating, jogging or simply stroll walking (if you want to catch an Uber or taxi during this time, you'd need to walk to the corner of the block). Gay owned & gay friendly. Everyone is welcome, as long as you respect the rules of the property and the rest of its inhabitants.
