Free on street parking. Neighborhood bordering Rock Creek Park. The living room and fully equipped kitchen are separated by an island. In the living area you'll find a dinning table, sofa bed (When used as a bed, we add memory foam topper for your comfort), and a work space with a computer and printer. The bedroom has a king bed and three closets - one of them houses your private washer and dryer. Please note that we live above the apartment, you may hear steps from upstairs. To get to the apartment, you will pass our front door on the front porch and go down the stairs along the side of the house. There is a small pergola covered patio, a private place you can enjoy - it has two chairs and a small table. We like to respect your privacy, but if you have any questions, we will be happy to help. Our house is in a quiet neighborhood steps away from the Rock Creek Park - a great place for jogging and biking. In close proximity are the Meadowbrook Stables and Candy Cane Park with public tennis courts. A 10 minute walk will get you to three restaurants including New York style deli and Chinese restaurant. We are located mid distance between the Bethesda (2.3 miles) and Silver Spring (1.8 miles) metro stations. The nearest bus stop is at the end of our street - 300 meter walk. Metrobuses J1, J2 and J3 will take you to Silver Spring, Bethesda and Medical Center/NIH Metro station. Please check their schedule online for details. Our stop is not listed, the closest stop listed is Grubb Rd & East-West Hwy. (Rock Creek Forest). You can also take the Ride On bus number 1 or 11 to the Friendship Hights metro station. If you prefer to walk to the metro, the Silver Spring metro station is closest to us - it is a 30 minute walk. Our Beltway exits are Connecticut Ave.(Exit 33) or Georgia Ave. (Exit 31).
