Lovely cabin near Cabo Blanco and Cabuya Island, only 15-20 minutes away from each Montezuma, Mal Pais and Santa Teresa. This cabin has a kitchenette, a comfortable queen size bed on the main level and 2 twin beds in the loft. Open air bathroom with hot water shower. Table and benches and storage for clothing. Newly developed property with lots of nature. Away from the main road with a super chill, family friendly vibe. Newly added kitchenette! Our cabins are newly built. The loft has 2 twin beds, storage for clothes or other items and is a very fun element for older children. Please note that the steps going up to the loft are quite steep. The bathroom boasts a large open air shower with seat. This cabin does not have A/C and has an open air concept. As we are in the jungle and are living in nature, it's possible that there will be some insects inside the cabin. We do fumigate and do our best to keep the cabin bug-free, however we are living in their space and they come in from time to time. When you rent a cabin the space is yours to use. You will also have access to the pool area. Please check in at the restaurant at the front of the property upon arrival. We are here to help with anything you need! Our area is still pure. We are not over run with tourist traps and chain restaurants etc. If you are looking for a more local experience, this is your place! You will see locals working in their traditional trades, such as fishing, and will truly get the Costa Rican experience. Our restaurants offer international food as well as local cuisine. We are happy to help you arrange transportation to and from the airport and any other transport needs you may have. We have shuttles, taxis and bus information and can help with all of your transport and tour needs. Our area is very natural and "in the jungle". The road access, as in any other secluded area in Costa Rica is bumpy at best. At some times of the year the roads are fine, but be prepared for a little "off-roading". We have many animals living on our property, these may include lizards, birds, monkeys, insects and our little dog Salchicha. DIRECTIONS for driving here: If you are coming from the ferry into Paquera, you will go to Cobano first, then to Montezuma, then from Montezuma to Cabuya. It should take you about 1.5-2 hours to get here from the Ferry. When entering Cabuya from Montezuma: When you get into Cabuya you will turn up the road towards Mal Pais and we are about 300 meters up the road on the right hand side. You will see a big open building with our Cabuya Lodge sign in front - turn into the driveway there and drive about 20 meters. If you get to Cafe Coyote you have gone about 50 meters too far. When entering Cabuya from Santa Teresa/Mal Pais: Please note that this road is not always passable. When coming into Cabuya you will see Cafe Coyote on your right. We are in the next driveway on the LEFT side. You will see a large open building, turn in there and drive about 20 meters more. DO NOT USE WAZE to get here. WAZE will take you the WRONG way.
