A-frame cabin with open floor layout (no private bedrooms) near the base of Alyeska Ski Resort. The house is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of many Girdwood attractions. Easy access to hiking trails, the ski resort, many nearby restaurants, and the Girdwood Brewing Company. Pets allowed on approval. There is no Wi-Fi on the property, but there is cell coverage. Open floor layout (no separate bedrooms). Living room and kitchen downstairs. Full sized murphy bed is also on the main floor. Upstairs has a full sized futon and a queen sized bed. There is also a full sized air mattress available on site and there is space for it by the main bed upstairs. Cozy set-up. I like it because I don't feel it is too big when I go up solo or with my partner. However, it is also big enough that I have been able to host overnight stays with a group if we are all close and are okay that the sleeping quarters will get pretty tight. Around 900 sq ft total interior livable space. Access to entire property. Will not be on site, but will be available by phone or email. Also available to help trip planning before you get there. The house is only one mile to the ski lift and the Sitzmark and less than a mile to The Girdwood Brewing Co. However, my favorite part about the neighborhood is that it is a quiet wooded community where you can walk (or xc ski) right from your door and forget that there is tourist destination less than a half mile away. Can fit 4 cars in the driveway if they aren’t the biggest of cars. There is a coffee and espresso machine in the kitchen. I have a pack n' play so that you do not need to bring one from home (located behind the upstairs futon). There are mattress pads on site that you can use for the futon or air mattress if they are not comfortable enough for you. There is also a dog bed in the cabin so you do not need to bring your own.
