Local Hawaiian Vibe , NOT like the fancy schmancy hotel resort areas of Ka'anapali, Wailea, Napili, etc. Lots of opportunities for picnics, hiking, water sports, local events , swap meets, craft fairs , concerts, great drives, and spirit renewal ! All things you need are not far away.... We use local Kihei car rentals like Kihei-rent-a-car or All Save [prices are half or a third of airport car rentals; cars are older , but good enough to get you around!] Bus service is available quite cheaply. Walking and bike riding are good exercise ! Taxis and limos are around if you want to get fancy. This condo is in the city of Kihei , and has a rather low-key, local , friendly , tropical vibe. Lot of interesting cafes, bars, beaches, crafts, events and vendors. A.C. in both bedrooms and ceiling fans in all rooms , as well as other portable fans- can be warm sometimes, but the great beach and pool are right outside anytime :) . This is a tropical island, so you might see a gecko or a bug once in awhile . If you are looking for fancy, upscale stuff like the hotels in Ka'anapali, Wailea or Napili, or are very needy and fussy, this place is NOT for you ! $5 charge for whining.
