Walk 1 mile on the beach in either direction to downtown Barra de Navidad or downtown Melaque. Lots of good restaurants in Villa Obregon and a Tienda a few steps away where you can get almost everything you need. Three blocks away from the Tianguis, the popular Wednesday market. There are bars with live music and dancing a short walk or bike away, (especially during the winter) Summer can be quite a wonderful time to visit if you don’t mind the rainy season or heat. Check the temperature before you book in the summer months. Mexico summers are hot. There is no TV in the Casita but guest have access to wifi, Netflix and Amazon Prime on their computer or tablet via my password if needed. Coffee anyone? Our beach less than 2 minutes away walking, is the quietest on the bay. The beach can be steep but if you are a good swimmer no problem otherwise a quick bike-ride to West Melaque. Two (2 ) doors down is a Tienda “la Buena Vida”with fresh produce and dairies and almost everything you may want. 2 blocks away is Rosita Loncheria with fresh juices. 3 blocks away a popular coffee shop Taza Negra. Restaurants very close: Quetzal de Laura, Vainilla Pimienta, The Frog, La Salamandra, Rita, Laguna del Tule. And live music at Ancora beach Club and Albatros during the winter/spring months.
