Independent suite (bedroom and full bathroom) in separate little house in a family house lot with garden. 4 minute walk from PUC, WiFi, fridge, bed made and room cleaned every weekday. Clothes washed for small fee. Hammock by huge tree in garden. This is a unique 1920 house, original but renovated for your comfort. The big yard and garden gives the house a country feeling. Fruit trees in the lot. Hammock by huge tree. Dogs live in the yard and work on the security. Guest have access to outdoor area, bedroom, bathroom and reading terrace. I will be more than happy to interact with my guests and suggest things to do and help on whatever they might need, if they want me to. My maid (she doesn't speak anything other than Portuguese...) lives in the house from Monday through Friday night and she will keep your beds and house cleaned. If you want her to wash clothes, we can arrange that too. Gávea is a noble upscale residential neighborhood between the Botanical Garden and Leblon beach, with a city park full of green and rivers. It is where PUC University is. Close to Leblon and Ipanema beaches (10 min by taxi or bike or half hour walking). It is always a couple of degrees fresher in Gávea than the rest of the city. In a 10-15 min walk you are at the Gávea Mall where you will find restaurants, bars, ATM machines, money exchange and stores in this chic neighborhood. In 7 min walk you are at IMS museum with a movie theater and small restaurant. In 15 min walk you can bathe in a river water natural pool at the City Park. The house sits on the neighborhood main street where there are buses to the beaches (10 min ride), Botanical Garden (15 min bus ride) and everywhere else. The metro bus comes nearby. Very easy to find a taxi just waiting outside the house. A taxi from the airport ranges at around 60 BRL. Ok for pets, but there will be a small fee for that
