Eco friendly room is 1 of the two-small studios located at the back of the house. The general eco-friendly room includes a cozy tropical beach vibe where you can rest, eat, sleep, shower. The location is very central and in quiet neighborhood in a suburb area of Oranjestad. Between the studio’s you can find a small garden corner. We are 420 friendly and like to plant healthy fruits in our own garden. Think of banana trees, papaya, limongrass…. etc Are you looking for a simple, cozy yet tropical beach vibe room to stay in? Eddy’s place is small 420 friendly space that will make it easy for you to get around. From 5-minute walks to small supermarkets or 25 minutes walks to many bars and restaurants. You can explore this island by foot or car. We are happy to assist and host you, if there is anything you would like us to arrange or get at the supermarket before you reach or at your arrival let us know (atleast 2 days) in advance by sending us a message or email. We will inform you the prices and upon confirmation we are happy to assist. During your stay we will be either watering the plants, working in our small garden or having a smoke. We are open to have as much interaction as you wish, so if privacy is preferred this can also be indicated during your stay. There is a general space at the back which we share with our guest to enjoy our cozy tropical vibe and garden. We ask our guest to not pick the fruits as they can be purchased for a modest fee upon request. There is free parking available in front of our house. Restaurants in the nearby neighborhood: - Baby Back Ribs Restaurant (outdoors): they have original and nice; BBQ ribs, chicken & steaks. Pricing is regular not to high not to low - La Granja Restaurant; The have rotary chicken but also steaks & fish, the food tast good and pricing is regular not to high not to low - Casa vieja Restaurant (outdoors); Colombia local, eat on the veranda or take out, = the food tast good and pricing is regular not to high not to low - Zee rover Restaurant; local fisherman's everything fried, fish & shrimp only, or buy it by the pound raw and cook it home, highly recommended and pricing is regular not to high not to low - The Kitchen Restaurant in back of certified groceries ; eat inside or ala cart or food station pay p/kilo for what, take out or eat in, = regular, pricing the food taste gooood, - Bare foot Restaurant; the seating g tables are on the beach surrounded our beautiful white sand & inside gazebo, international & sea food, = pricing a little on the higher side but perfect for a special occasion. - The old cunucu house; local , international & sea food, Pricing is regular not to high not to low - Bright Bakery: BEST local pastechi, crocet cake cookies cofee & sweets, breakfast snack/lunch very local, = Pricing is regular not to high not to low. A special optional new service for our guests is that Eddy can: Take you to a different place to eat Aruba style breakfast/ lunch or even dinner. The pricing of this service can vary depending on the restaurant and location on the island. You can inform and make a request any time before or during your stay. As owners we want our guests to feel welcome and special. I can pick up all my guess at the airport, any time of day/night if requested beforehand. Aruba is very safe, but your instinct should always go first. The buses in my neighborhood pass 3 times a day, or I can take you here and there, for a bus fee. Buses do pass 3 times a day but not on a regular schedule, Arubus app can be downloaded to check the schedules. Best way to get around on Aruba is by renting a car. Car rentals can be affordable, but we recommend checking different car rentals and book before you come. Internet rates tend to be more affordable. Having your own transportation is having freedom to cruise around the island. You can arrange a rental car, so you can explore the island on your own. We want you to enjoy your stay!
